I usually prefer watching things in their original language, and I listen to music from Vietnam, plus I’ve watched Thai and Philippine dramas before. Even so, I still struggle with Chinese.
Link Click is amazing, but I ended up watching it half in English and half in Japanese. I watched the Bridon Arc in Chinese because it was the only option at the time and I really wanted to watch it, but yeah…
I just can’t feel fully immersed when watching something in Chinese. Last time I shared this opinion online, people called me names, so now I’m a bit hesitant to talk about it.
Never saw someone with so many chinese animes
If I remember correctly π€£, one of the movies was about the first Ajin or so, the other movie was about the antagonist which I think is Satou, how he became who he was in the TV series Seaso. 1. I really enjoyed the show regardless of CGI. And I think the Animation style and CGI there used for the anime is what made me love the anime more and it really fit π the anime .
You said u have never seen anybody who love Darwin game like you. I indulge u to also count me in π.
And u also mentioned Ajin, literally one of my best underrated anime too bad a lot of people don't know it. At the time it came out in think i rated it 9/10 that show was just too good π.
Nice to know someone who also watches underrated show π«.
kingdom, The ambition of Oda Nobuna, Drifters, Golden Kamuy, Vinland Saga, The Apothecary Diaries, Sword of the Stranger, Hakuouki, Shigurui, Raven of the inner palace, The story of Saiunkoku, Basilisk their are a few with power struggles and politics but not a whole lot I think only one is not set in historical times but the main character are historical figures
Especially Kyousou Giga. It has a unique art style, it reminds me of "Kill la Kill"
Really interesting to see how different cultural approaches to animation. I can see why you're into Chinese donghua.
I remember there was such hype behind Link Click and same as you I'm working my way through to watch them
I'll keep an eye for Lord of the Mysteries. It’s a shame to what they did to TBATE, but the powerpoint clip was pretty funny, haha.
All good! Totally understandable, especially when comes to series you're passionate about
Anything you recommend, I'm happy with it.
What's good anime you would recommend for me? I'm curious about your taste
He’s so fun but also strangely cool, but I also love a lot of people from Noblesse!
Me too I’ve been busy just keeping up with the new seasonal stuff, I haven’t had any time to watch/read anything from my ptw/r
Even during the less interesting season, there’s at least 1 or 2 shows I’m interested in and then I hear someone says something cool and interesting about another show and I get caught up in the hype π
