I see, thought for a second you somehow watched the first 27 episodes in one go LOL. Yeah watching it at your own pace is definitely the way to go. Though there's a certain point way later on where the pacing slows way down and watching a lot of episodes at a time would be best to properly enjoy it, but ideally by that point you should already be so hooked that it shouldn't be a problem lol. But yeah other than that hope you enjoy the rest as much as I did, HxH is such a great ride.

Yeah even though I'm not too big on Drama and I don't think karuta sounds too interesting as a sport (from what I can tell at least), I'm sure I'd still really enjoy Chihayafuru. I really loved Hibike! Euphonium, and I didn't even know that euphonium was an instrument before watching it lmao

Symphogear definitely looks cheesy, but that just seems like part of the fun lol. I'm looking forward to watching it eventually, but I've still got a looot of stuff I wanna watch before it.

Yeah, I've been trying to watch less seasonals in favor of older anime as well. This season I'm still watching Dumbbell and Dr. Stone, as well as planning on checking out Vinland Saga, but next season since I've literally got nothing to watch except Beastars it's probably about time I start looking into more classics lol. Hopefully you find some great shows to watch as well.

And Chihayafuru is one I've been wanting to watch for a long while now, but it's just that idk if Sports/Drama is my cup of tea. I definitely know it's good though, I'm still planning on checking it out eventually, so I'll let you know what I think about it then. For now, can you try to sell me on it?

Btw how's Symphogear? I've been getting curious about it lately, I heard it's some Magical Girl/Mecha/Idol hybrid abomination or something like that? as well as a ton of fun. It sounds absolutely ridiculous, which is why I wanna watch it to see for myself just how absurd it can get lol.

Yeah Idk how you can stomach not dropping anime when there's stuff like Arifureta, but I respect that. I guess if it really gets so bad that you can't handle it anymore you can just remove it from your list and pretend it never happened lol

Abenobashi is one of the few Gainax series I barely see mentioned ever, but I've heard it has some similarities to FLCL in style and animation, which is why I was curious about it. Also I'm a little surprised you haven't watched that much Gainax yet given how many of their stuff are classics, but I guess it's totally understandable when seasonals must already take up a large chunk of your time, also since from your favs you seem like more of a romance/drama type of guy. But yeah, Eva is my absolute favorite anime, and I love Gunbuster, Gurren Lagann and FLCL a whole lot, so I'm a pretty big fan of Gainax.

Planning on watching anything next season? As I've said before, this is probably the only season where I've literally got nothing to watch almost lmao, but I'm guessing you might have some stuff you're interested in among all the sequels. Other than that, any non-seasonal you're particularly interested in checking out?

Yeah that's one of the first things I noticed, seeing affinity above 70% is quite rare lol. I'm not sure how the affinity algorithm works, but I think it might be because you've watched like 5x the anime I have that the numbers might be a bit skewed. Still really high though.

What'd you think of that Abenobashi anime? It's one of the Gainax series I haven't seen yet despite being a massive fan, so I've been thinking of checking it out, as well as the others like Nadia, Kare Kano etc.

Yeah I gotta give you props for choosing to watch almost every seasonal, especially when there are very few notable ones compared to previous seasons. Next season is also 90% sequels to stuff I didnt watch so pretty much the only one I'm checking out is Beastars lmao, but at least that gives me more time to check out shows I've been meaning to watch for a while now.

I've also only seen AoT S1 way back when it first peaked in popularity and literally everyone was watching it lol, but I wasn't too impressed at the time, which is why I didn't get to the other seasons until now, but the hype around the newest season was enough to get me interested in getting back into it. And the hype is well deserved, it's actually really, REALLY good. Like, not even "pretty good thrilling action show" like season 1 was, like actually AOTY level good and well worth the 60 episode binge it took to get there, really changed my opinion on the show as a whole.

IMO, I haven't even done anything at all and I just let the tutorials do the job. ^^' But really though, they are incredibly helpful with explaining things mainly because of the video tutorials are providing visual examples to make things clearly understandable for the viewer. If I would be explaining things myself, then it'll end up long-winded, verbose, too confusing, and I'd probably be the only one who understands what I'm trying to say. xD

If you wish to test out what you'd like your About Me section to look like, why not experiment with the images and the coding by making a private blog and assemble your desired profile there? That way, you can easily preview what you've made so far without others seeing it. You can just copy everything in it into the About Me section in your Edit Profile page once you've finished assembling all the text of the entire body of your profile.

Hi Xceler8! Yeah, we haven't talked very much. I'm doing fine! :) I've just been spending less time on anime lately as I've gotten preoccupied with gaming once again. ^^'

Oh, my profile? I made the entire thing using an image editing software called Adobe Photoshop. It was made possible thanks to years of experience I've gained from using Photoshop. >.< There are many different ways to decorate the About Me section of our profiles. :)

^That topic contains a link on how to obtain Adobe Photoshop for free, as the older version has become free for download, as far as I remember. The video in that link is very helpful and explains everything clearly. Much clearer than how I could explain it in words. xD

^ Look for "Putting quote boxes and text (lines) behind images" as it teaches a very interesting trick about using quote tags and aligning images left or right. It's a really neat trick! I've already seen a bunch of pretty profiles that simply decorated their About Me using this gimmick. :)

I thought bunny girl senpai looked promising at first but after they revealed the cause of everything 'puberty syndrome' I just couldn't take the manga seriously anymore lmao. It just felt like a weird case of chuunibyou that didn't really make any sense. Maybe things get explained more later in the anime? But I didn't give it a chance to continue haha. I have not seen/read Gridman but I know from memes that Rika's thighs were a hot topic hahaha.

Anyhow, what are your favorite anime genres?
I glanced at the new seasonals and realized I've actually read the mangas for the most of them haha. Domestic kanojo, shield hero, gotoubun, neverland, etc.
