Same. I probably relate to him and the issues he represents more than any other character. Which is part of why Eva is my favorite anime. Excited to see what you think about the original ending because I think it's amazing but it was heavily hated by many upon release and that's why Anno came back to make End of Evangelion. Well partially at least there's other reasons but some are spoilerish so I'll refrain from saying anything more for now
