Happy birthday! ^^

Sure thing! In terms of anime from this season, I think as a fan of fun shounen titles you would probably enjoy Soul Eater. Macross Frontier would be my rec for some good old fashioned mecha action. And for a harem/comedy series? Probably To-LOVE-Ru which is a fanservice comedy in the vein of Urusei Yatsura ^^.

Thank you, Ken-chan! I never really thought I'd watched that much, when it's all listed it seems like a lot though!

Well, it wasn't released even where I live; I had to order it from Amazon. Money well spent. And I too am not spending much time with games at the moment (what with school and all...); though sometimes I start again a SNES rpg.
I've never played rpgs online, and I'm not sure I'll find them as entertaining as the ones I've been playing with till now. I admit I'm curious to see how it is to play with the whole world, but I'm afraid that then I'll become addicted ^^' The first game that comes to mind is of course WoW... what'd you suggest?
lynx Feb 17, 2008 11:30 AM
I recently finished Tales of Destiny 2. When I first started it, I was having serious doubt about going on, considering leveling up (and surviving dungeons) was so damn *hard*. But that's the typical misfortune of early levels; in fact, continuing with the game and gaining more levels (and glorious HP), things got a lot easier, thus making it a lot more fun. I even started appreciating the gameplay, discovering that it was indeed great when I could kick major enemies asses ^^. I don't know about re-playing it though; not now at least, maybe waay in the future.
Now I'm currently playing for the second time Star Ocean 2, trying to use different characters (for example, this time I got Opera and Ernest instead of Ashton), and it's still a joy to play this game.
When you talked about sidescrolling games, I immediately thought about Dragon Valor. Have you heard about it? I discovered it by pure luck, and it was entertaining (though a bit too easy for my standards).
lynx Feb 14, 2008 2:17 AM
Hi there. Legend of Dragoon was my first PS1 rpg ever; I immediately loved the graphics (well, having played for a couple of years on the snes, everything would have amazed me ^^), and was intrigued by its combat system, which I thought was the most twisted and hard ever. Then I got used to it, and I love it, 'cause you're more active during battles, and if you don't pay enough attention, you're screwed =D Of course, now, after Star Ocean 2, I know there's better gameplay, but LoD will always be my first favourite.
What about you?
Neji Jan 29, 2008 8:23 PM
Thanks for accepting invite. I am trying to invite everybody who has Haruhi as favorite to make it the bigest club. BTW I just noticed that I love every single one of your favorite characters. It's just that I have some others that I love more and I guess you are not a fan of Tenma+Kenji pairing XD.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
