I belong to way too many fandoms be it anime, K-dramas, C-dramas, American shows, movies, Marvel, Disney, Barbie, Taylor Swift, K-pop… basically, if it exists, I’ve probably watched/read it. I
I’m all about real character development, meaningful stories, and strong female leads. Things that make me nope instantly: oversexualization or fan service in shows that aren’t ecchi/hentai, zero character growth, people who ignore character arcs and spread hate, and FLs being stereotyped as helpless damsels when they clearly aren’t. I also appreciate the philosophies of different anime characters.
Also, I don’t obsess over MLs just because they’re rich, powerful, or handsome. If he’s a cheater, misogynist, or straight-up murderous… big hard pass.

Oh really? I haven't heard about how dissapointing season 2 was. I'll keep that in mind whenever I do try it and see for myself. Maybe I'll still like it. To each their own.

Those are some great favourites!! It's been forever since I watched Maid-sama and I do agree it gives off the nice old shoujo feeling. It was very charming. I think older anime, ones from the late 80's to the late 90's has this charming feel to it visually. It's so appealling.
Ahhh Hori, so you're basically very energetic and pretty smart (and other things that I can't remember from the top of my head hahaha). I do want to start Bleach eventually but I think I need to finish one of my other longer animes first. That really sucks how they had to shut it down due to censorship. Totally sucks. T-T

Yup. I totally get what you mean how a lot of our favourites do change over time but there's always a couple or so that will just stick with you for longer, if not forever. :)
So my favourites are Shiki, Zankyou no Terror, Naruto Shippuden, HxH and uhh Haganai haha. When I first watched Shiki, I was hooked on the story and the mystery. I loved the music in it, its beautiful yet also a bit haunting. Zankyou No Terror also got me hooked because of the suspense and characters. Theres one song that I find beautiful and it's called VON.
Shippuden, I binged as much as I could, I loved the story and it just felt like a journey (although theres way to many fillers and yes I watched ALL of them).
HxH was my 2nd anime after AOT, which was recommended to me by a friend and I also binged that. And finally Haganai...well I'll say that It's my favourite trash anime. (Totally didn't watch it just for the tits and butt shots hahaha 0////0 . This is actually when I learned what Ecchi means). It did have some funny moments and I am still waiting for a season 3. The manga has finished so I am patiently waiting for a studio to make S3 happen.
I think my favourites list needs a lil updating but that's for another time. Maybe after I watched some more anime haha.

I have yet to watch or read Vinland Saga, but since I heard that they finished the manga, I might read it myself! :))
I started watching anime back in 2017 and started reading manga the year after. My first being Attack on Titan. The reason why was because I saw a trailer of the live action movie (I think it was real, don't think it's fan made) and I was curious about it. After searching I found out there's the anime for it. Started it and it just went from there. My first manga was called Doubt. It's like a horror-ish manga.
