Bro, this anime is as S-tier as an anime can get. It effortlessly shifts from comedy to action, and vice versa. It's also amazing how you can take the different arcs of the show that reflects their particular genres and compare it to full-on shounen or comedy animes, only to find Gintama to do a better job.

I can see the visible disappointment in ur faces looking at this. Hear me out. This anime revolutionized the isekai genre and left a mark on the anime world like no other. If you're a sucker for shows like eminence in shadow, shield hero or any modern-day fantasy isekai, then you gotta realize that SAO was the one that started it all. It's hard too see the show's greatness in today's perspective but in 2012... this show was IT. (I was 7 yrs old in 2012, I wouldn't know). Oh, one last thing, despite all the hate it gets, its still more successful than you're fav isekai! BOO!

You are an full fledge baseball fan and spent more hours watching baseball as compared to the time u spent watching anime that month (you are a weeb). That's what this anime did to me. I wanted to be a japanese high-school student in the baseball school team more than I wanted to be isekai-ed into another world with a whole ass harem. Crazy underrated show.
