I've listened to some but never really got into it. I'd love some recommendations though! Any particular jpop artists you recommend?

Hello and thanks! I love all genres of games. I really love jrpgs and fighting games. Probably my favorite games are Kingdom Hearts 2 and Street Fighter. My taste in music varies greatly as well. I love everything from pop to heavy metal. Just yesterday I was listening to Justin Timberlake (pop) and then switched over to Rolo Tomassi (hardcore) with no issues!

Ohh Violet Evergarden everyone keeps saying that I should watch it because it's really good xDD but I dont know there is still so many stuff I should finish first ehhh

Yes exactly!! And these coloursss. I'm not into dropping the anime that I'm watching. I don't know I would feel bad because I would actually miss something good, something that needs more time to blossom. Even when it's confusing I want to believe that it will stop at the end and if not then maybe ova's will make it clearer xD.

Do you often drop anime? And what makes you do it?

Hmmm Hyouka can definitely seem to be boring but I really enjoyed it because it was so calm and soothing like you know without these massive kills and fast action and yes the animation is stunning!! Especially the eyes and their glow! I really like that characters aren't exaggerated and they feel real except maybe Oreki a bit xD I really like Mayaka!!

Mirai Nikki well... Ive recently watched it with my friend and it's so confusing xD. Some scenes were a bit too much for me maybe that's why I gave it a lower rate. The idea is really cool and the whole universe and these plot twists but I don't know sometimes it was just too many things in one scene for me xD

Hey hey! A bit late but welcome to MAL! ^^ We have some animes in common but our scores are slightly different xD. Im curious about your opinion about Hyouka and Mirai Nikki, tbh I kinda agree at some points why this low for the second one buuut stilll. Either way have a nice stay!

I think it is important to know what genres you enjoy, as then you don't waste time trying to find what to watch next.
Yeah I am really grateful to him for getting me into anime now I spend more time watching anime than him haha.

When you do get around to it will deffo be worth it. I am not usually into Sci-Fi so I was really surprised by how much I loved Dr Stone I think, as he makes things that are really modern you can relate better with the story.

I used to watch the regular Dragon Ball and Pokemon as a kid, however I only found out in 2013 when I met my now fiancè that all them years ago I was actually watching anime he has been an anime fan since the 90s and is a massive lover for Shounen especially his fave anime One Piece so in August 2013 we watched Vampire Knight it was alright I still thought anime was for kids at this point haha.

It wasn't until much later in mid of 2014 that I gave anime a proper try and I watched Magi and I fell in love after that I kept with the genres of Magi which happened to be Shounen and i used to only watch Battle Shounens or Adventure Shounen as it was the genres I knew and i trusted them genres haha.

However i do branch out I have watched and loved many Slice Of Life, Romance, Dramas including Violet Evergarden (what I think is a fantastic emotional story which is also stunningly beautiful) also some of my other faves would be Angel Beats, Ano Hana, Clannad,Tsuki Ga Kirei and so many others.

I might check out Tenki No Ko soon it has been on my PTW list for a while, but just never really gotten around to it.
I really enjoyed the emotion that Kimi No Na Wa offered.

Ahh I see some shounen I would recommend is:
Dr Stone: A briliant Sci-Fi, Shounen, Adventure. If you like science fiction you'll enjoy this . They make some interesting things including a mobile phone and coca cola.
Noragami: Action, Shounen, Advdnture, Comedy, Supernatural.
Dororo: For something similar to Kimetsu No Yaiba then this is deffo the one to the watch really really good it is a Samurai, Historical, Shounen, Action, Advenure would highly recommend this if you enjoyed Kimetsu No Yaiba
Nanatsu No Taiza: Anime about the Seven Deadly Sins it is Battle Shounen, Adventure, Magic, Supernatural anime.
Nuraihyon No Mago: Action, Demons, Supernatural, Shounen
The Law Of Ueki: This one is an older battle Shounen and in my opinion a hidden gem, as not a lot of people have watched this anime it is really good.
Fire Force: Action, Shounen, Supernatural (2nd season will air in Summer 2020)
The Legend Of The Legendary Hereos: Action, Adventure, Magic
Mirai Nikki: Action, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural, Shounen
My Hero Academia: This I would say is my favourite Shounen anime and quite possibly my overall favourite anime ever highly recommend this 4 season released so far it also has 2 movies and a 5th season already announced. This is a fantastic Shounen, Action, School, Superpower anime if you'll watch any from the list watch My Hero Academia.

I haven't actually watched Tenki No Ko yet would you say it is better than Kimi No Na Wa, then? I enjoyed Kimi No Wa a lot thought it was beautiful animation and the story was really good also. Do you like more romance, drama anime now? Or do you still enjoy the battle shounen anime?
I watch a lot of battle shounen anime, but I haven't invested my time in the longer ones like one piece, Naruto, bleach and fairy tail yet, however I do plan on watching them eventually those animes are ones I feel I will watch when I have watched all the other high priority anime I want to watch 1st, as a lot of time needs to be invested into watching those long battle shounen anime haha.

That's nice, I myself am not a big fan of some fantasy magical adventure shounens because you can't really find yourself in them, though there are a really good ones.

I liked psychological anime a lot, though Tokyo Ghoul kind of ruined the genre for me so I switched to Slice of Life to take a break, hahah. Right now, my favorite is Toradora! It truly is a masterpiece for me! I also like KonoSuba for how funny it is and has relatable characters.

Also, I noticed you had watched K-on 2nd season and gave it a 10. Is there a difference from season 1 or is it just those girls chilling after school again? I found season 1 kinda boring and repetitive, so is there something that makes 2nd one better?
