I've only read the manga so I can't comment on the novel. Except for its rushed ending, the manga is worth at least a one time read.

no worries, i don't mind late replies. i'm a late responder too most of the time. i relate. as a mobile user, sometimes my safari or chrome will randomly refresh itself or crash to an unknown problem in the server or whatever. as you'd expect, re-launching it means i get welcomed to practically nothing left of my original thoughts. this is why i have developed a habit to manually copy writing progress just in case. well, yes, it has 100 or so users... however, i believe to remember that it was stuck in manga submission limbo for quite some time/years despite the work being finished (MAL is amazing as usual) so maybe 100 users+ entering and reading it is generous lol. no problem, it was worth it that you rewrote the review for me to have seen. thank you, you have read those as well? awesome. i'm surprised harada and nakamura asumiko are in your favorite people section, they both have those certain reputations and from reading some of their works... haha. there's rather 'wholesome?' ones like "boku no suki na niichan" but then you have stuff like "j no subete" which shot me in the head from the start (pun). if sakurai atsushi is there, you must listen to buck-tick too.

this is a year after your review, but i have finally gotten the chance to check that one ichi got a full tranlation. it's been a long time since i saw that only the first chapter had been scanlated. i just wanted to say that i agree with the way ichi "realized" his feelings for kenjirou. didn't it seem like he had, more accurately, noticed that kenjirou was being truthful about his one-sided affection by reminiscing about all the things he had done to appease him in their childhood? it's too strange, ichi had barely any time inbetween giving up his first love and addressing kenjirou's. just a straight arrow in the plotline... ah, well, that is all i will bother you with. i think this is the first time i've gone to a reviewer's profile to comment. i'd refrain, were one ichi not to have been so unknown. i wanted to speak of it. thank you for your review.

Thanks for the recommendation. Its description was really interesting but unfortunately, it's 100 chapters long. I avoid picking up anything longer than 10-15 chapters because I know I have a short attention span and I end up dropping longer manga anyway, especially if they aren't BL.
