Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Part 2

After the mysterious mana calamity, Rudeus Greyrat and his fierce student Eris Boreas Greyrat are teleported to the Demon Continent. There, they team up with their newfound companion Ruijerd Supardia—the former leader of the Superd's Warrior group—to form "Dead End," a successful adventurer party. Making a name for themselves, the trio journeys across the continent to make their way back home to Fittoa.

Following the advice he received from the faceless god Hitogami, Rudeus saves Kishirika Kishirisu, the Great Emperor of the Demon World, who rewards him by granting him a strange power. Now, as Rudeus masters the powerful ability that offers a number of new opportunities, it might prove to be more than what he bargained for when unexpected dangers threaten to hinder their travels.

The second part of the first season completely captivated me. Everything I liked at the beginning is even better here—both narratively and visually.

Rudeus has ended up in an unreal part of the world with two companions. Together, the three try to return to their homeland. In the process, fate strikes again and again, sometimes mercilessly. The journey is not only physically challenging, but also emotionally intense – full of losses, surprises, and twists and turns.

I particularly liked the characters, their backstories, and the transformations they undergo. You can feel how they grow and change through their experiences. The emotional depth is much more ... noticeable than in the first part.

The animations and soundtrack continue to be of a high standard. The world feels alive and atmospheric, and the background music fits the scenes perfectly, enhancing the emotional impact.

All in all, the first season – parts 1 and 2 – is one of, if not the best isekai anime I've seen so far. Those who engage with the story and its characters will be rewarded with an extraordinary fantasy adventure with depth and style.

Der zweite Teil der ersten Staffel hat mich komplett in seinen Bann gezogen. Alles, was mir am Anfang gefallen hat, wird hier noch besser umgesetzt – sowohl erzählerisch als auch visuell.

Rudeus ist mit zwei Kameraden in einem unwirklichen Teil der Welt gelandet. Gemeinsam versuchen die drei, zurück in ihr Heimatland zu gelangen. Dabei schlägt das Schicksal immer wieder und teilweise unbarmherzig zu. Die Reise ist nicht nur körperlich herausfordernd, sondern auch emotional intensiv – voller Verluste, Überraschungen und Wendungen.

Besonders gefallen haben mir die Charaktere, ihre Hintergrundgeschichten und die Wandlungen, die sie durchmachen. Man spürt, wie sie an ihren Erfahrungen wachsen und sich verändern. Die emotionale Tiefe ist deutlich spürbarer als im ersten Teil.

Die Animationen und der Soundtrack sind weiterhin auf hohem Niveau. Die Welt wirkt lebendig und atmosphärisch dicht, die musikalische Untermalung passt sich perfekt den Szenen an und verstärkt die emotionale Wirkung.

Alles in allem ist die erste Staffel – mit Teil 1 und 2 – eine, wenn nicht sogar die beste Isekai-Anime, die ich bisher gesehen habe. Wer sich auf die Geschichte und ihre Figuren einlässt, bekommt ein außergewöhnliches Fantasy-Abenteuer mit Tiefgang und Stil.

Mixed Feelings

Amazing animation, fights, worldbuilding and even some of the characters however the main character IS A PEDOFILE Im not even joking or exaggerating it manages to be one of the best and worst shows of all time because how the writer goes about it. He borderline justifies it the reason my review is so high is because that is literally this shows only fault I can give it everything else is good but him being a literal pedofile just takes so much away from it I cant even feel bad for him anymore for anything that happens to him because he is a literal pedofile ... through and through I'm somewhat surprised it was even fully legal to make this because the children ARE sexualized and they are literally touched unconsentually by a 40 year old grown man, but instead of it being framed as insane or disgusting it is framed as a joke that he is touching a sleeping child and we are supposed to sympathize with him. It was funny for the first 5 minutes before it was confirmed he was genuinely a pedofile and the writers intended that then it was just fucking insane.

Just imagine how good this show would be if it were just the kind wise 12 year old boy and we didn't constantly get internal monologue of a 40 year old man talking about how much he wants to fuck kids and steal their panties.

People talk about the perversion of this show like it actually matters, dude its a fantasy get over it, you wanna know what I care about? The story, the character development, the pacing, the growth, which all are non existent, if the writers spent half as much time invested in actually making Rudy grow and learn as they did with world development and other characters maybe this show would actually be as good as people make it out to be, Mushoku Tensei is super overrated and it is likely because of how ecchi it is and because so many people relate to how much of ... a perverted pessimist Rudy is.
