Kingdom 6th Season

In ancient China, during the Warring States period, a former servant named Xin rises through the ranks with a dream: to become the greatest general under the heavens. Fighting alongside King Ying Zheng of Qin—who seeks to unify China and end the chaos—Xin leads his own unit, the Fei Xin Force, onto the battlefield.

With power reclaimed from the influential Chancellor Buwei Lü, King Ying Zheng begins laying the groundwork for a new, unified legal state with the support of key allies like strategist Changping Jun and legalist Li Si.

As Qin launches a campaign to seize new territory from the state of Zhao, their advance is halted by the brilliant strategist, Li Mu. In response, Changping Jun devises a bold plan: to bypass Zhao's defenses and strike at the key city of Gyou, near Zhao's capital.

To carry out this risky maneuver, a powerful coalition army is formed—led by the tacticians Ou Sen (Wang Jian), Kan Ki (Huan Yi), and the warrior queen Yo Tan Wa (Yang Duanhe). Joining them are the next generation of Qin commanders: Xin's Fei Xin Force, Mou Ten (Meng Tian)'s Gaku Ka Unit, and Ou Hon (Wang Ben)'s Gyoku Hou Unit, each operating independently.

The fierce battle for Gyou begins, as the future of Qin's unification hangs in the balance.

This is the biggest mystery of the 21st century. How. How such a masterpiece gather so little recognition ?

And HOW ? HOW such a masterpiece that fails to gather the recognition that it's due, can STILL, get so many incredible adaptation ??

I am literally shocked. Every season, I come to MAL to check on the seasonal anime to come. Some season I just scroll down without seeing anime I'm interested in, but THEN, when I go to the bottom of the list, I sometimes find this masterpiece named Kingdom. Then it's just a party for 5 to 10 minutes. I'm screaming, I'm laughing, ... I'm just happy. Like when you go to work and there is a holiday you weren't aware of on the coming Friday, that kind of happiness.

Jokes aside, this is a masterpiece. My theory is that since season 1 was badly animated, it lost all the hype. But since season 2, it was just a perfect adaptation. This season 6 has not deviated from the rule.

AMAZING. Just AMAZING. This is by far the best arc of Kingdom to date. The Zhao invasion. And I love what they are doing with the adaptation.

They are not in a hurry. Each episode does not skip ANYTHING from the manga. The strategy meetings. The characters' resolves. The lore in-depth, especially on the enemy side. Everything on Kingdom is in my opinion, SO WELL WRITTEN. And everything has been perfectly represented and respected in those first few episodes.

In terms of the anime, the animation is great, the voice actors that Kingdom had for 6 seasons now, starting with Ichigo, are great. The OSTs are some of the best I've heard, I'm actually writing this listening to Keishou and Michi, which are from season 1 by the way, but STILL USED in this 6th season !

Kingdom is by far one of the best anime I've seen, it is sitting at the same table as the HxH or One Piece in my opinion. It is truly one of the best ever. And this 6th season is confirming this a bit more. By respecting and adapting the best arc of the manga with patience and care, as it should.

I thank the people who still invest in this anime, even though it doesn't gather the attention it should, thank you for giving this masterpiece the care it deserves.

Kingdom is honestly one of the most underrated anime I've seen in recent years. The writing of the story is superb, and since Season 2 or 3, the animation has been off the charts. Some of the scenes I've seen have been enough to stop you in your tracks, how they managed to animate literally a hundred characters at the same time, and have done it so flawlessly.

A massive hurdle I've seen for people deciding to watch Kingdom is that first season, that first season was animated very poorly, which has stopped people from watching it en masse, unable to find the motivation to ... continue past that first season. However, those of us who have continued watching through the first season know that the story and history behind this anime isn't something that we've been able to find since.

The Kingdom anime follows a storyline of a young Qin servant who rises through the ranks of the Qin Army with friends in tow, with the aim to become the "World's Greatest General." Xin (the main character) starts full of naiveté; however, throughout all the character development of six seasons, he has come a long way. It narrates the cruelty of war, whilst still keeping it light-hearted at times.

Kingdom has been an anime that has consistently kept me waiting for more, ever since I saw that third season start simulcasting all those years ago. Start watching it, you won't regret it!

From the very start, Season 6 rockets past the previous arcs in intensity and scope. The battles are bigger, the tactics sharper, and the drama hits harder.

The art of war, the battle of wits and tactics, it’s all crafted beautifully. We see tremendous growth from the characters, especially from Xin: from servant to warrior to leader. His journey remains one of the most rewarding in anime. And all his battles are not half-baked.

Every season has raised the bar, and Season 6 delivers. The animation, the plot, the characters, they all level up. If you’re looking for a historical-epic anime where tactics matter, characters evolve, and ... battles leave you breathless, Kingdom earns that high ratings without doubt.
