Wind Breaker

From an early age, Haruka Sakura was made an outcast due to his unconventional appearance and lack of social skills. However, the rough treatment turned him into a proficient fighter, which is now the only thing he prides himself on. Starting at Furin High School, where it is rumored that strength is valued over academics, Sakura has only one goal—taking the top spot.

Involved in a street brawl the day before his enrollment, Sakura happens to meet a group of his future schoolmates. Instead of the usual rejection, they fight alongside him, demonstrating that what the school actually cares about is protecting the town of Makochi from any harm—hence why the students call themselves "Bofurin." Surprised by the support and appreciation of the townspeople, Sakura has a hard time accepting their goodwill.

Though unfamiliar with kindness being shown to him, Sakura must learn to push past his discomfort when Bofurin is pitted against formidable enemies. After experiencing the feeling of acceptance, he finds himself fighting for the sake of others for the first time.

Wind Breaker feels similar to Tokyo Revengers because it’s about gangs, fights, and loyalty—but honestly, it does a few things better. The story focuses on street fights and protecting the town, not time travel or confusing timelines, so it feels more direct and intense. the mc isnt a crybaby and can fight in season 2 we can see his emotion even more. Feels more grounded and fights have emotion . if u like gang, rivalry and brotherhood u will like it and the animation is solid cloverwork did their job and season 2 villian are interesting too.
CHractaer are likable and things feel realstic and ... i think u should give it a try especially sakura first big fight with slow mo guy

Mixed Feelings

I don't really know how to feel about this anime. I didn't like the plot very much, and in part I found it extremely unrealistic. Everything felt like it was part of the power of friendship. Why set it in a high school? That makes it more cringe-worthy. It could be an organization or something else entirely. It's a school, but there isn't a single teacher. The characters are all stereotypes. When they fight the other gang, in the end, the leader of the other gang wasn't having fun? This is a gang fight, not a school contest.
This is my first gang anime, and ... I think it will be my last. I really didn't like the plot at all. The protagonist's motivations seem ridiculous to me.

On the other hand, I think the animation is very good, and the fights are quite enjoyable for that reason. Also, the soundtrack is pretty decent.

I don't really recommend it very much. I feel like I wasted a lot of time watching it.

I recently finished Wind Breaker. let me get strait forward why the hell is this show so lame? Why the hell that basta*d Sakura blushing over every sentence is he a girl or something? Its so annoying and most of the characters look like cheap fan art of Tokyo Revengers.They even show back stories of characters in middle of a fight! How much more lame they can be??


But this series starts quite good and has some decent fight scenes. Yeah don't expect god tier fist fight animation like the scene where Ayanokoji beats the class c captain. But Wind breakers animation is pretty decent. But ... the story is lame and has no depth. Just some kids fighting and shouting about honor. I honestly do not recommend it unless you have lots of time to waste.
