PERFECTION IN ENGINEERINGGGG RAHHHH I LOVE IT
Not only does just the production quality is a bit above average for "isekai" fantasy style anime, the focus they put on the building, just like the name implied, is exactly as good or even better as you may expect from this show. They actually put THOUGHTS into the city building and planning, like water management, fortress shape like a star shape, and people accommodation. All pretty deep subjects when compare to other buildings anime we ever got in the past.

[Production Quality (animation, OST vo)]
First of all, production quality. It's pretty good, above average for an isekai fantasy style show. The animation is definitely good and more than enough for the building, city planning, defensing, and politics. The music, sound directing, and VO is good. Overall the vibe is: Chill, calculated planning, and tense at time. [Production 8/10]

[The City building (main plot and point)]
Now let's talk about the bread and butter of this show, the city building. I think this is the best show in term of city/village/country building in anime by far. If I have to list names this is better for, it's: Farming Life, Tensura, Overlord, MoonlitFantasy, etc.. They put quite a lot and emphasis on the thoughts and planning. Like the shape of the city, being a star fortress, a concept that actually in real life history and planned. Thoughts in people accommodation, how in the future the city will grow, and need more space. Procuring water, economic stability, housing, health care, and many more.
Now a lot of the protag magic kinda made these trivial in the start, but it's now showing that there's def need to be more thought and planning put into it. The personnel to manage it, and utilizing the people to bond together to achieve further greatness.
The plot is also building it up perfectly. The power play and politics affect it, and make the plot quite interesting and need to be thread carefully. Many characters slowly introduce and play a part in it, definitely quite fun to watch along. [Story 10/10]

[The story telling (pacing, writing, characters)]
In term of story telling, they did it so well as well. Every episode is a fun and joy to watch. Pacing is good with around 2-4 agenda done per episode, so there's definitely no stalling nor over pacing right now. The character is written pretty well, not too deep and not too shallow. Overall great! Not something to glaze over, but very good [9/10]

---Conclusion---
In conclusion, if you love city/village/country planning and building, this show is DEFINITELY for you. Production, writing, and telling is very fun to watch along both weekly or binging any you so choose. If you don't dig the premise, that's fine, it's just not for you, but if you do dig it, DEFINITELY A MUST WATCH.

The Surprise of the Season

There are many stories that are commonly done but have versions that are viewed especially fondly among people. The unlikely friends (Lilo and Stitch & The Iron Giant), the underdog story (The Rocky Movies) and the slice of life Isekai are no exception to that. What sets out the versions of these tropes that work and that don't are the care and effort put into making each one have its own strong personality.

I can confidently and gladly state that this anime has plenty of personality, and so far it's been a pleasure to watch every episode. Don't get me wrong this ... isn't some absolute masterpiece and so far the story itself hasn't done much to attempt to detach from the normal trope in that respect, but the personality the show has on display has successfully kept my smile throughout, and that is simply a very good outcome when watching a show.

The animation is really nice, especially for what is likely a limited budget with CGI being used sparingly so far (the horse isn't CGI! 😱), The music is surprisingly effective, the art direction is satisfying and done with purpose, the voice acting is very good, and the humor and pacing keep you invested. Perhaps most importantly though, I actually like all the characters with nobody really falling into the trap of becoming absolutely morons or blatant fodder for the MC or the plot.

The show is honestly giving me early Tensura vibes with the creation of a new village and it's gradual evolution.

Really really good stuff, I hope that it stays the path it's on.

Please give this anime a genuine chance, it does not deserve to lumped into the same category of Isekai as other shows with a similar premise.

I have read the manga, I know that this is an adaptation of the light novel, but bear with me. One of the few things that really makes this great is the art, and sadly it does not carry over well to the anime adaptation. While it is obviously much higher budget than your average isekai, it is still not comparable to the manga.

Story wise, it is a very standard noble world building anime, with a bit of easy to chew politics and nation building on the side, so it is a very easy watch. Sadly it suffers the same problem as many other anime ... in its genre. A problem exists, it gets figured out and solved in one episode thanks to the always right all powerful MC, and then people clap and praise the MC relentlessly.

Also I mentioned that this is an isekai, so yes our MC is reincarnated, and that does not affect the story much, other than giving the author an excuse to make the MC a very smart young looking protagonist. The conflicts are repetitive and mostly solved in the same repetitive way, rinse and repeat. I would say they do not handle it that badly, many shows do it better, but many shows do it much worse.

As for the OST, I do not know what is up with the opening song choice, it is certainly unique compared to most isekai anime, and I am pretty sure it has its own niche audience, but it is not for me. The ending is much better.

Also Till, Khamsin and Arte are still adorable as fuck here despite the animation being passable at best and great casting for them, that is almost exactly how I pictured their voices when I read the manga.

Overall, it is a very basic beginner friendly anime that you can probably enjoy if you, as the title implies, are easy-going
