| GIFT comes before Legend of the Twilight. If you're not playing the games, you should try at least to read .hack/XXXX or .hack/Another Birth after SIGN and before Intermezzo. |

| If so, you should skip Unison and GIFT, since they are sequels of the games and it's unlikely you'll understand them, and maybe Liminality, since it happens at the same time as the games but in the real world. |

| Not that much. Unison and GIFT are only 1 episode, GIFT being a parody, and Liminality is only 4. Regarding the order, it's ok except that GIFT comes before Legend of the Twilight. |

| Well, the only think is wrong in the order is the GIFT and the DUSK (Legend of the Twilight) right? So the order is (only anime/movies) 1 - Sign 2 - Intermezzo (OVA) 3 - Unison (OVA) 4 - Liminality 5 - Gift (OVA) 6 - DUSK (Legend of the Twilight) 7 - Roots 8 - G.U. (Trilogy Movie) 9 - G.U. Returner 10 - Quantum 11 - The Movie: Sekai no Mukou ni 12 - Versus: The Thanatos Report Something wrong? |

| Welp, it's missing the games in there, that are canon. Between Sign and Intermezzo, there are: - .hack//Infection - .hack//Mutation - .hack//Outbreak - .hack//Quarantine And the G.U. games: - Rebirth - Reminiscence - Redemption Are obviously better than the G.U. Trilogy movie. |
