| really hard to describe what i just watch, if it was funny or sad. the building if yusuke is really great, he's not a bully but have problematic characteristic. the reasons for his death was really good, really gives me what to hope for. |

| Been a long time since I watched a classic anime, first time this one, but enjoying the old school art, and there were definitely some unexpected feels this first episode. Hopefull for this one, since I really loved Hunter x Hunter 2011. |

| This first episode was amazing hands down. Of course, YYH is my absolute favorite so I may be biased, but it was this episode that got me hooked. Super emotional and the start of a great story line with no way to tell what’s coming next. Superb job |

| Man this episode really hit me in the feels. YuYu Hakusho doesn't seem always take itself too seriously, but the fact that Yusuke thought that he was some unredeemable punk and yet at his wake sees how much some people really care for him was really well executed. Looking forward to what comes next in this anime. |
| I watched Yu Yu Hakusho when I was still a kid. 24 years later, I'm rewatching it now! I barely remember much so watching this first episode feels refreshing! What a way to start watching anime when the protagonist lost his life eh? It's something! Let the journey begin! |

| A tragic first episode for are boy Yuusuke. Though plenty of people saw him as trouble making delinquent, it turned out he has a kind heart saving a boy at the cost of his own life. The setup was nice with Yuusuke and him tracing back the steps of the day after he died. It was nice to see how that one girl really cared for him along with the principal. It was sad to see how heart broken they were at his mourning. Along with the orange haired lad, I found him to be quite cook and it was nice to see even he cared for Yuusuke. Botan is an interesting girl and I cant wait to learn more about her and the spirit world. The animation is also pretty solid. You can never go wrong with old animation, it always has a special feeling with how it looks along with the detail. |
