@Soujirama i agree that they could have let deku quirkless instead making him iron man. but at the same tiem i didnt dislike it because he deserved it.

and: i wish that they would have included the deku/ochako bit from the manga, where they finally decided to get together. i kinda dont get why it took so long, but hey..

because the only thing i disliked about the anime ending was that there was zero conclusion to the relationships between the students. especialy deku/ochako

@Wrathberry84 There is this purity and asexual stuff in some shounen that is totally lame, I agree with you.

Overpowered and isolated teenagers at school without a single romance is just pathetic...

What an amazing show! Even with its up and downs, it delivered an ending that left me pretty satisfied.

Now I know they left out one chapter of the manga but its probably going to be an OVA or they'll flesh it out into something else. I'm hopeful to see it.

My final rating for the whole show: 8.4

This was quite the journey with many ups and downs. It was satisfying to see it come back full circle. The ending song has a soft spot in my heart (I by Bump of Chicken).

I still can't put my thoughts into words. Can't believe that it ended. This show has been part of my life since 2016. Seeing the kids grow and doing their own things made me feel like a proud older brother. I had the largest smile during the whole episode, with a few tears towards the end.

Guess it's time to delve into the movies and the OVAs now.

Man, they showed Mirio as an adult but not my girl Nejire 😭 Or maybe that manga panel of her was from the extra chapter? I don't know...

Anyways, great finale from beginning to end in my opinion. From the scene with the old lady helping the abused kid, symbolizing the significance of helping others and the impact of such simple action, to the conclusion with Deku being able to keep being a Hero because it was his friends' turn to lend him a hand. A perfect way to conclude this 9-year old journey without a doubt.

And what a journey MHA was, huh? Seriously, following this franchise year after year has been such a pleasure and despite some relatively minor flaws some seasons had, I can easily say MHA is in fact one of the anime series I care the most about. Oh man, what an incredibly endearing show. Will miss it greatly.

9/10 - Go Beyond. PLUS ULTRA!

It's an alright finale. Personaly, I would've changed quite a lot (e.g. if you're giving Deku a way to become a hero again anyway, why focus so much on casting him as "just a teacher" now? Just bait and switch with the ironman suit already having been given offscreen.), but compared to the absurd heights and mediocre lows over the entire story, it was a serviceable way to end.
Now, what is absolute peak is that Gran Torino became EVEN TINIER. I want to put him in my breast pocket as I walk around the world.

This final episode was alright, nothing that had me going crazy for, just alright. The ending could have been better.

I was never a diehard fan of this franchise, but I have to say, it did have awesome moments, and it had its fair share of emotional moments too, which is the thing that I enjoy the most in an anime. I just love it when an anime tries to pull emotions out of me with a sad soundtrack, and MHA had plenty of those emotional scenes, which I simply appreciate. It also had crappy moments, too; everything wasn't sunshine and rainbows here, so MHA has up and downs. Nothing could ever top All Might vs AFO in season 3; that was the peak of the whole franchise, IMHO, but some other episodes did come pretty close.

It was a long journey, but everything in life comes to an end. So, my final verdict:

This final season is awesome and has great production quality, so I rate it: 10/10.

As a whole, considering all seasons combined, I rate My Hero Academia: 8/10.

One thing that irks me though, Why they pushed Uraraka's love for Deku only for them to not end up together in the end.

@AnimeJunky this is really getting me too it was so good but them not getting together was crazy to me i was literally waiting the whole entire last episode haha

Other than like 2 things I wish happened.
This anime was so great, it’s been such a great ride from start to finish peak story

Extra stuff I wish happened
although I really wish they gave Deku more credit for the battle with Tomura/All for one

If ep 12 does come out, I really hope they show another time skip with kids as a anime only moments & the suit being used :)

It was an amazing journey from beginning to finish. This anime really was there for me. Cried, cheered and loved this anime. Its sad that it ended and also we didn't see a Uraraka and Deku ending. But this was such a powerfull anime. Go beyond plus ultra!
