Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji
| I'm wondering if anyone can get into this anime without any traditional Japanese knowledge about board games (I think). I like the genres but not sure if I would understand the point. Thanks in advance. |
| the anime is amazing but not many can get into it because of the art,especially the pretentious ones on mal and ps:wrong section oh and you don't have to know anything about board games |

| It's a pretty fun watch, in my opinion. A lot of really good monologues and dialogue. |
I'm also filled with pure-hearted ulterior motives. |
| Even though it wasn't one of my preferred type of shows, I thought it was good at those games. If I remember correctly, they make up their own rules and explain it in the show, so there's no need to know any game beforehand. |

| Yea you don't need to know the rules of the games beforehand. You are probably thinking of Akagi, you have to understand mahjong games in that one in order to fully appreciate it from what I heard. |

| All rules are getting explained everytime and it's VERY enjoyable. Everyone should give it a shot and judge after a few episodes. The art style is strange though. |
