The reasons why Kaiji entered the world of gambling make me laugh a lot!

Have you ever stopped to think that practically the only reason Kaiji entered the world of gambling and survival games was because in episode 1 he stole a part from a car parked near his house?

This led him to meet Endou and at the same time threw him into that abyss with no way out, lol.

However, the main reason was still to pay off debts.

This kind of becomes a curiosity, did you remember that?

If you want the context of this moment in the anime, read below:

In the first episode of the anime Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor, the character Kaiji Ito is shown vandalizing luxury cars as a way to alleviate his frustration with poverty. The part he steals is the hood emblem/ornament (the brand symbol) of an imported car, specifically a Mercedes-Benz.

In addition to stealing the emblems, he is also seen slashing the tires of these vehicles. This attitude reflects his hatred for the ostentatious display of wealth while he can barely survive.

Kaiji meets Endou in the first episode ("Departure" / Shukkô).

Endou, a representative of the Teiai Corporation, visits Kaiji at his apartment to inform him that his former co-worker, Furuhata, has disappeared and left him with a massive, compounded debt of ¥3,850,000. Endou presents Kaiji with the opportunity to join the illegal gambling cruise on the ship Espoir to erase this debt.

Key points regarding their meeting:
Context: Kaiji is in deep poverty, having quit his job and spending his days gambling, drinking, and vandalizing luxury cars.

The Proposition: Endou uses smooth talk and coercion to force Kaiji into taking the gamble.

Wasn't Endou looking for kaiji anyway, because of kaijis and his friends debt.

I agree about the debt of friends, but it's because, until today, it seemed to me that Kaiji had met Endou after doing that, and I'm sure of it because I opened the episode to check
