THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Really cool to see this anime back in a special and right off the bat, the city is under fire by missiles. I still got the feeling that never seems to have left from the original anime. In other words, very creative with interesting narratives and ideas. We also got to see a lot of Killer T-Cells. What a bunch of goofballs badasses. Pretty entertaining episode. The threat they had to deal with is also kinda scary if you think about it when they attack in numbers. |

Decent episode and really best to watch after taking break from the main show. Took a different turn by making our usual mc's as side characters with few highlight moments which break the typical formula TV show have presented for most of the episodes. Overall as a special episode it did its job aside from too many time spent on deja vu introductions. It could been really great if they could make more episode/ova/specials in future especially imo they can explore more interesting elements. |

It was nice to see the show returning, even if only for a single special episode, but, well, something is something. Don't lost track of the main Normal Cell of this episode, by the way. If DavidPro makes a second season in the future, he will be sure important, trust me. Feel very bad for him when they viruses were about to destroy his cloning machine, good thing he was saved in time (and the clone was safe too). Gotta pity Killer T Cell tho, the dude just want some love, but he's so intimidating and unpleasant he barely gets it. Good thing the Normal Cells let him play badminton with them at the end. Red Blood Cell didn't have much screentime, but at least she got an scene being pranked by the Normal Cell and the Rhinovirus-infected Cell, thing that wasn't in the manga chapter the special covered. The scenes of the Macrophages and Basophil weren't there either as far as I remember, but was still nice to see them again. The Macrophages are so OP they can make lethal weapon of mass virus slaughtering from toys, and Basophil is as edgy as always, so everything is right. Also liked to see Effector T Cell (the JoJo Cell, for those who don't remember him) reappear (his scenes were in the manga chapter unlike the other ones), since his last scene in the main anime was him reverting to Naive T Cell after being beaten by the new Influenza virus. Glad to see he's still a badass. And, as always, this series makes me feel like shit for all the poor cells I lost everyday. The Normal Cells have to get the worst part of the body, they're basically fodder for viruses to propagate and then being obliterated by the inmune system cells, just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. May them all rest in peace. And may also we get a second season in the future too... |

I never knew a cold could be that intense, but then again, the Japanese sure are very weak against the common cold according to anime. Good thing Tsundere Killer Cell-kun got his revenge on the infected cell. ANONE ANONE! Anyway, I miss Cells at Work! and I want a new season! Anyway, good to see a special as a treat to end this year. |

This Special was a nice surprise, being honest. I really liked it and although platelets didn't have enough screentime, I was glad Macrophages did. All in all, it felt like a regular episode from the main series, which is not a bad thing. It helped me remember how much I enjoyed watching the series back then. Not to mention that since I love its ED song, it was very pleasant to hear it again. Ano ne Ano ne~ |

Great special episode! It’s been a while since the tv series aired, and so this special was a very welcoming treat! Very gratifying and pleasing to see the whole bunch of Characters appear in this episode too and the usual descriptions of certain medical terms along with the Op and ED were really nostalgic! Lots of hilarious moments throughout this episode too and the final scene was the best of them all. Macrophage taking down the infected cells with those toys were super badass as usual and xD the red blood cell in the end there was hilarious! Killer T Cell playing baseball there instead of badminton and his usual over-the top rowdiness was nice to see! Very glad to see this show end is such a high note, I just wish we could have seen more of White Blood Cell and Red Bloody Cell’s meeting. |

Looking at the scene from 16:30 on, was I the only one thinking of Langoliers when those virus monsters were flying around? Anyway, episode was okay, though I personally would have hoped for more scenes with the main characters. Oh well, maybe in a second season so time in the future. |

A bit disappointed by this episode, but my hopes were high. It was fun, but I was hoping for something more dramatic and with more suspense, like the last episode, or the one with the tumor... Also I wish there were more screentime for the red blood cell. That said, the episode was fun and I'm glad I watched it. Now I hope for more specials or a new season, because this show has many possibilities still unexplored, I think. |

Never expected Killer T to be a tsundere. The cell dividing his room turned out to be mitosis. haha Why was common cold playing pranks? When the cell hugged his copy, it was so adorable. I was hoping they'd announce a second season. So sad. |

It hasn't even been that long, but I missed this one, glad to have this special! That poor cell was just bored, and ended up getting used by that infected one. He had a prankster inside of him though, he was really enjoying himself. lol Killer T was really cute getting all embarrassed and happy with that gift, a pity it was just a prank. A pretty fun episode. |

Hmm the common cold huh. Quite the appropriate subject considering the season. Lol the present that Killer T received. The infected cells sure had quite the sense of humor. It was pretty entertaining seeing the immune cells pay them back for their pranks though. Guess the lesson this ep was while working hard is important so is having fun and mingling with others. An entertaining and educational episode as always. |

That person had a rhinovirus, that really was one mischievous virus it was and devious too. Those T-cells were a rowdy bunch of neighbors but they're are reliable when needed. The squad leader is still a tsundere and I like him. Red cell never had a major screen time in this one for the first time, I guess she arrived too late and at the wrong place LoL! I hope there will be season 2 in future. 7/10. |

It's only been 3 months, but a new episode of Hataraku Saibou is always welcome! ^_^ The antics that the two cells were pulling on the likes of Killer T Cell, Neutrophil and the others were pretty funny. Eventually, the cold viruses had to be eradicated and seeing the Macrophages using the likes of tennis rackets, paddling boards and golf clubs to kill the virus cells made me laugh as well. Killer T Cell was acting as a proper tsundere as he tried to not take part in a badminton match, but once he did, his smash simply sent the shuttle into the sky. Nice... XD I still keep my fingers crossed for a second season in the future, but aside from that, great special episode! =D |

This show has made us have sympathy for cancer and now colds are a lot of fun. I was laughing so much throughout this episode, of course I hate colds and don't want them even if this much fun is involved for them. All's well that ends well in the end, great episode. |

That prankster cell was pretty damn annoying esp. for literally trying to kill our MC Sekkekyuu, damn you. Was a pretty fun episode once that's taken aside. Loved Killer T being tsundere, he's got husbando potential. |

I just finished the series and it left me wondering why we didn't have an episode about the normal cells yet considering that they're the most basic components of our body. So here it is lol. A normal cell bored with life befriends an infected cell and they create mischief in the body. I like that these guys really had to study to know things in this world lol. They weren't born with all the knowledge. Killer T Cell is a tsundere. Decent episode, I guess. 6/10 |

This is such an entertaining special, it's hilarious as well with how much the innocent cell and the cold virus pulled pranks on a bunch of cells. But being mere cold viruses, they're defeated in one swift swoop by the T killer cells and the macrophages. Quite a wholesome ending at the end where they socialize together. |

A normal cell's job really seems kinda boring. Still she should at least have known what a virus looks like instead of just going along with it. Macrophages still kick ass, but this special could've used more platelet fun. |
