It could absolutely be said since enjoyment and “good” is subjective in art. Obviously there’s an appeal here since it somehow has a high score and the manga sells well. McDonald’s also sells more than Michelin restaurants though so 🤷🏾♂️ appealing to lowest denominators will generate popularity and money. Anyway, no one’s stopping you from liking it so carry on. I just don’t see it.

| A food fight festival, golly god with the "fanservice is best service" visuals lols xD The festival to help Kurumi regain her social confidence, but her solo performance being the detriment, Rentaro has to go with leeching Kurumi off the bat with the sides...which everyone got bought by their trap since the first round of qualifiers will only count towards rice. But the rivals they're going against are food fighters of the Gorilla Syndicate and Chanko, and if Kurumi is to have any chance to win, no matter the food, from bubble tea with its chewy tapioca balls (that Shizuka can assert her small mouth) to sushi (that Nano is like a machine just swallowing down) that the Rentaro Family slowly catch up to Chanko on their own basis. Truly, it's the power of love...albeit too full to becoming hurlfriends. The final round with Kurumi soloing on ramen while the Gorilla Syndicate runs out of stomach space and Chanko literally cheating his way through the food fight, it's too late for Kurumi to ever give up now. And that's where the Rentaro Family comes in to assist her, competing until their stomachs run full, and Rentaro sealing the win for the festival thanks to Kurumi feeding him the last mouthful. That, with Kurumi's kiss, makes the whole festival a lot more satisfying. Welcome to the family, Kurumi! |

| Fanservice is the best service XD but putting that aside. Food fight! I expected food to be thrown around, but instead it's an eating competition. Fair fair. Let them devour all, she's hungry enough for it. Altho they still only wound up in third against One Piece and macho women. Claps to the other girls for being useful in the main rounds. Nano is the goat. Swallow food technique op. Kurumi XD this is a fun episode. Actually, change of heart from before I started. I respect this group. Even if their stomachs are endless |

| Ok episode, but I guess they decided to keep going with crazyness and there will be no logic in this anime even in minimum? Like that sushi, they already ate more than 10 pieces, but talking like it was only 10.. Not sure if its gonna be easy to watch this season, and likely will drop if 3rd season comes.. if this won't get any better season one was good because it was something new but with 4th girlfriend it became bad |

| Lol is no one really going to point out the plain Oshi no ko meta reference ? didn't see one since EXPLOSIONNNNNNNNNN dubing by Megumin VA in Animegatari, but this was a big meta anime. |
| Damn, that announcer girl is hot! She should've joined the harem but I digress. While I'm not a big fan of eating contests this episode was still good since it allowed the newest member Kurumi to shine and the way they won at the end was great with her feeding Rentaro 👍 |
