I’ve read the manga, but watching this story end once again really got me. It’s bittersweet to see the end after watching and reading this anime for so many years, but I’m extremely pleased with the conclusion. I’m hoping for an extra ova though.

I enjoyed it, it was very emotional... so many years, I grew up with them but...
Where is the conversation between Deku and Ochako? So long waiting for nothing, it was the real last panel. Please tell me there's an extra chapter to add the dinner that has the 1A and the declaration of love.

WOW!!! TYSM MHA for this WONDERFUL adventure!!! This was my very first anime and if it wasn't for this show, I probably wouldn't been who I am today (probably could've started with another show), but I'm SOO VERY grateful to have MHA as my very first anime to ever watch and to step into a whole other world with ALL these amazing people I meet throughout the years of expanding my anime journey. This series really has a special place in my heart and just to say,
Thank you

All the other episodes were 10/10, but I didn't like the last one. Why? Because I didn't want Deku to lose his ability. Okay, let's move on. Almost no one knows Deku, the noble person who saved the world? He couldn't be the number one hero, he saved the world, but Deku doesn't even have a single statue. People should respect him, but most have even forgotten the war. They should teach the war as a lesson in schools to raise awareness. They say the ova is coming and the finale will be different. We'll see how they wrap it up when it arrives.

damn man. it was quite surreal watching this. an end to a great story. easy one of my top 20 all time, with some individual moments that are among the best in anime all time.

sorta sad ngl 🥲 that empty feeling when a series finishes

crazy ride. satisfying ending. so many good callbacks and plot threats resolved

idc what they say this season is an easy 10/10 from me ❤️💛

hard to accept that a franchine as big as MHA has come to an end, what a ride it has been.

had real strong first three seasons and got a little slow in the middle but it ended with a bang, the final season was phenominal.

Will surely miss this show

amen - first three seasons awesome, weak middle, then 6/7/final season also awesome

The franchise was an overall good watch. Had its ups and downs and this final season had some of the best moments. As for the ending, personally thought they played it too safe. Deku became quirkless but given a suit to basically become a hero again, so basically nothing really changed or happens in the end, everyone still the same and if something did happen, it was away from the viewers.

I’m glad they expanded on 430 as much as they did, their definitely won’t be the same complaints about it among anime onlys that manga readers had, but man this ending still feels incomplete to me without 431. I really wish we had a 12 episode season.

That said I still loved this season and I’m gonna miss MHA a lot.

All in all, that was a nice series finale, upbeat and thematically coherent.

The little vignette at the beginning didn't do a lot for me. I understand the intent, but it was too sudden and neatly resolved to have an impact. It's like they were trying to cram too much into the very last episode. Either they should've expended it or cut it entirely.

The rest of the installment was what one would expect. Nothing crazy or egregious, just a nice final episode to wrap things up. It's pretty emotional to say goodbye to these characters after almost ten years of watching them. I've accompanied them all along, and being left without the show is going to be strange.

They played it off a as a joke "because there's still runtime on the episode"; but I feel lik they really didn't know how to bring it to an end. Only half the saeson was the "actual" story. And for having so much "what do they do after that" and stuff, all we get are some scraps. E.g., the talk between Midoriya and Urarra lasted a minute or so before they got interrupted by the rest. And that's after they skipped any fight except the main two. Most of the class didn't get their own scene and only showed up in that last combined effort. And then they still skipped everyone else, e.g. class 2 and 3 or the pro heroes. So they somehow managed to both skimp out of fights and out of "character development".

There's also things that never made sense. Sure, there's always a dark side to any society, I'm sure there were legitimate grievances that many of the evil guys had. But Spinner was at the same time PROUD that the league only wanted to destroy, and portraited as a kind of victim, big bad Midoriya killed his only friend and hero. Many shonen protganoist believe they can befriend a rockslide and if they simply accept it as it is it and believe in it everything will turn out just fine, so Midoriya is understandable, even him accepting the murder charge after he specifically did NOT kill either All For One or Shigakari was..well, it was stupid, but a given, But that scene as a hole was kinda a big fat middle finger for all the people who lost their house, friends or lives because of the league. If that was televised in universe, there would be a riot.

Overall, they should have cut down on the recap and preview every episode, which was ridiculous, and use all twelve episodes instead of joking about having to fill dead air when you havenÄt shown f*ck all.

It was better then e.g. season 6, but it was still very rough directly after beating All For One for good, and the last couple of episodes while nice on their own were a mess in terms of having a coherent arc etc., it was just random things thrown in.

Knowing that there will be no more. I'm... not... crying... Damn it.

One thing that irks me though, Why they pushed Uraraka's love for Deku only for them to not end up together in the end.

What I saw most was people saying that My Hero Academia is the story of "how I became the greatest employee," and that the manga ending was awful. Well, the final battles were wonderful, especially Bakugo vs. All-For-One. It was incredible to see Kacchan and Deku's evolution; I'm happy to have seen them surpass All-Might. I also liked seeing that everyone in the class followed their own paths, especially Todoroki, who no longer carries the weight of his family's traumas. I imagined that Deku could return to action with technology or with Eri's help; even without that, the path of teaching seemed quite natural to me. The fact that Deku didn't get as much recognition bothered me a little, as did Uraraka not having her long-awaited conclusion. That said, I loved following this journey! It started as an anime I didn't pay much attention to, but it won its place in my heart. It was an incredible 9 years! I will cherish many memories and lessons learned.

Thank you so much, My Hero Academia!

There it goes, nine years. Almost ten freaking years following Deku's story. I cried my eyes out for so many different reasons, one of them that hurt the most was after seeing adult Todoroki, then realizing by that moment Touya was no longer there... Knowing the story of Izuku, one of the top shounen animes of the new generation at the moment, like the big 5 (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail and and KHR) is finished it's... It's a lot to take, but god damn I'm one of the luckiest that got to LIVE this experience along the manga and the anime <3 I'll be forever grateful I decided to start watching that new interesting anime about heroes 9 years ago. I'll go back to this series till the end of the times. Thank you Horikoshi for everything that Boku no Hero Academia is, GO BEYOND, PLUS ULTRA!!

Nine years, my tears stream down my face as my heart fills with happiness and my mind with memories, because these aren't nine years of a cartoon, they're nine years of a childhood, an adolescence, a difficult life, but full of happy moments along the way. I was 14 years old when My Hero Academia was released. I cry because it's a piece of me. Thank you God for everything you've done in my life. As a child, I never imagined I would get this far. I know I'm not and won't be a third of what I could be, but I'm grateful every day that you've always been by my side, placing works like My Hero Academia in my life to keep me company and teach me valuable lessons. Thank you, God.

They really should've hired that grandma, she seems to have the quirk of detecting potential villain candidates.

I guess the ending was satisfying, though Deku getting his powers back with technology... not feeling that after his sacrifice before.
Can't say the same about the season overall, the weakest so far for me. The final fight felt quite underwhelming and that was pretty much what happened this season. I wish I cared more about this story ending, but oh well... 6/10 for this season.

I love this show so much and I can't believe it's done! The ending was really emotional and I loved seeing how everyone grew up and how they really thought about preventing more villains from happening. I understood more of why Deku decided to choose that path so he can inspire more people!! The final shot of them all going to save the day was so good and a nice callback from s1!! I love that Bakugou and class a wanted Deku to still fight and be part of the group too!

last episode was a fine ending - too bad there was no further conclusion on the one being captive other than being "saved" by that grandma

in general there is not much to say about boku no hero academia - it was overall pretty good, it had its flaws, but the biggest one probably is that it's not really memorable, even after all these seasons

and thus my rating overall: 7/10

Clean and satisfying ending.

Weaker part of the series was Season 5 which felt kinda redundant, a lot of training after the series finally picked up, just felt like odd timing.
Overall though I think this series just felt really genuine, the consistent quality and so many great moments!

The fanservice in the last minute with all the 'quirk armor' stuff was disgusting. The 'no quirk' ending was mature and very fitting for a hero journey's perspective. With stakes, sacrifices, and the beautiful message that in the end, the power scope in 'heroism' doesn't really matter. Midoriya was a true hero trying to grab the kid as a teacher at the same intensity when he delivered the final blow in his last fight.

Ppl who are just eternal kids, wishing for the greatest and happiest ending for all stories, and not understanding in the slightest the true message and premises of what they are reading, just needs to grow up...

Despite that, and the issues long debated in all the series, the message was really good, with a lot of entertainment, especially at the beginning and at the end of the journey.

There were very few shounen who ended with such dignity...

@Soujirama i agree that they could have let deku quirkless instead making him iron man. but at the same tiem i didnt dislike it because he deserved it.

and: i wish that they would have included the deku/ochako bit from the manga, where they finally decided to get together. i kinda dont get why it took so long, but hey..

because the only thing i disliked about the anime ending was that there was zero conclusion to the relationships between the students. especialy deku/ochako

Very satisfying ending. I wish more series would spend at least that much time on the epilogue.

Can't believe it's almost 10 years since My Hero started airing and while there were downs during the run it was still always a good battle shounen experience. The cast of characters, the production value, there was a lot to like about this adaptation. And I'm glad it sticked the landing when so many others break apart during the final arc.

8,5/10 overall for the anime

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron
