| Oh man, that moon. Got Soul Eater vibes. The battle against Gold is a tough one. It almost looked like she was toying with them. Shrina and Joker also had trouble in their own battle. Glad to see these fights underway though. It kinda paints this show as a war with every battle that counts. |

| Yeah, our brother Burns is gone man. Dude has been blinded, gaslighted all the above, this is just not the same person we've known for all these seasons anymore. That brother is GONE. At least we get to see a Shinra and Burns rematch thanks to it though. I mean, we know Shinra don't play when it comes to captain Obi... and having him chained up there is just asking for Shinra to get down. Also kinda just uh, you know, defeats the whole purpose of the other team going to the prison to save Obi.. when, you know, HE'S RIGHT HERE LOL. Though uh... yeah, just skip the whole fight I guess because??? This might've been one of the slowest paced episodes I've seen from a shounen in a hot minute. I could get past it last episode because it was setup... but literally nothing happened this episode, well at least in B part that is. Yeah, I think we need to start speeding up the pace here davidpro because in case you forgot, this is THE FINAL season. |

| Eh, they should get done away with recapping stuff which just happened last episode lol.. just saying. Btw, the set-up last episode was worth it, I mean seeing them getting straight to the business with Burns was all of this about after all. They’ve never disappointed with the fights, and yeah, this one will go for a while, so I actually want to see how flashy they’re going to get. Hilarious to see how hard it is for the company 8 folks to act like the bad guys lmaooo. Haumea looks like a dumb slut with those expressions though, I mean I don’t really want to know about her sufferings, so yeah we better not get much of it. Rather Hibana’s theories should get their cut. Anyway, why everything around Arthur is sooo unserious lmaoo. Dude dropped off the truck and nobody even paid attention.. lol. Him being there with the rest of them would’ve actually really helped, but yeah, later. Now good stuff next episode, so looking forward. |
| Rgrgrg did we really need to start the episode recapping stuff we already saw last episode? We could’ve used that time for more Burns Aura farming π been waiting YEARS to see this fight take place and even though it’s just the start of it, David Production are cooking. There’s never gonna be another studio to match David Production’s sound design I swear. Burns’ “Nova voltage” sounds so fucking cool. Stage 1 and 2 transformations are dope and the storyboarding was good for the little hand to hand stuff we had this episode too. Can’t wait for things to really get going tho. As usual my baby Hibana cooking up behind the scenes, slowly unraveling the mystery of spontaneous combustion. The holy church’s bs lies starting to fall apart and capturing obi who everyone knows would never do the shit he’s accused of is only expediting that. Nice taste of the 8th in action today, but next week’s preview looks like we’re getting crazier and lewder lmao. Solid set up episode, could’ve been better without that recap tho |

| Voltage nova huh what a name for an attack. For Shinra though fighting burns must had been hard given how he viewed him. Hinawa seems to have taken to the role of rebel pretty well. Burns stage 2 transformation makes him look like a crusader which is apt really. Between Burns and the destroyers the 8th sure have their hands full. |

| I'm definitely not dissapointed with this episode. A couple really fine sakuga moments, even though we saw some frames in the trailer aready. I do love how they built up Burns as an incredibly menacing and dangerous opponent. He engolves in an aura of flames looks phenomenal and imposing. This looks like the start of many simultaneous battles, so I hope the quality stays consistent throughout. Also I am a big sucker for these lightning effects, it looks so clean.  |

| Passes a 3 eps test, but have to admit I am a little disappointed in it. Some really cliche writing and the animation isn't up to the standards set in the first two seasons. But I'll push through a few more eps at least to see where this is headed. |

I remember reading that the Fire Force franchise is a prequel to Soul Eater and it has been forever since I watched that anime. I might do a re-watch.

| Another episode with 3 chapters adapted. This is going to have more than 24 episodes |
| It’s a bit of a shame they spent time on recap at the start of the episode when they’re supposed to be adapting a ton of chapters for this final season, but hey at least the episode beyond it was awesome as usual. So the fighting begins, nothing too crazy yet but we got a taste of Captain Burns’ true power, as well as Gold who is still going on about money for some reason lol. So Burns gets stronger the longer he fights, the stages looked pretty cool but I want to see him do something crazy in these forms, I’m sure it’s coming but for now Shinra and Joker have to be on the defensive because there’s no breaking through that wall. And Gold has some kind of plasma power kinda like Haumea looks to me like, but the gauntlet she has is playing a role too, her scenes looked pretty cool already so I’m excited to see what she can really do. And man Hinawa became more badass than usual in his rebel arc lol, bro is breaking all the rules of infiltration, why sneak in when you can blow up the front door, it’s reckless but I love the enthusiasm. And the stuff with Hibana is pretty interesting, it was a short scene but it’s absolutely gonna lead to a truth bomb, the doppelgängers have been shrouded in mystery for a long time so I’m very interested in what could be behind them. And lastly, bro wtf Arthur fell out of the truck lol, I had a feeling that was him when he wasn’t there for Hinawa’s morale booster, but I’m sure he’ll make some badass (but also dumb) entrance later. And as a final note, lmao they used Tamaki ass in the preview for next time, well now we know to look forward to a full moon next episode, and it’s not the Soul Eater moon lol. |
| Decent but disappointing ep Mid animation with some stills, stiff and limited animation, and jarring transitions. Though, some cuts looked "okay". Then, they moved the , im assuming it will be in another ep cause that's what causes him to go stage 2, even tho it already got adapted. Maybe moving it isn't too bad. Worst part of the ep is that the pacing is TOO SLOW, sure the cour might have 12 eps but has dp forgotten that they have a deadline and need to possibly drop another 12 (HOPEFULLY MORE) eps in January? (24 eps at least is need unless the eps get longer). It looks like this cour might end off 216 off speculations, and its a great place to stop for the end of this cour. I never thought that I'd have to say that the animation was actually lacking. In addition, the pointless recaps and the fact they wasted 2 mins without animating anything (voided) so its actually 22 mins instead of 24. Off assumption, with this slow pacing, I expect 5,6,7,8 to look somewhat of old s1-s2 with their best fights. This ep adapted ch 181-183, with the hibana part from 190. DP LOCK IN 8.5/10 |

| Gotta love how the 8th is supposed to be a "family" (they say that all the time), yet no one gave a single fuck about Arthur being missing until the moment they needed him lmao Watching the ending makes me think, will we ever see that kid again? The one that lived with Vulkan, we saw him on s1 when Vulkan got introduced, and after that little arc we never saw him again lol, but in the ending he appears for a second using the 8th's outfit. Also, I can't wait to see Juggernaut with his new big ass canon, he looks cool (opening/endings always spoiling stuff lol). |

| So Burns is kind of like Metal Bat from One Punch Man in a way? The longer the fight (well, in case of Metal Bat, the more damage he recieves), the more powerful he gets? Though Burn's base level seems to be pretty high comparably. Would be cool to see a dragged out fight with Burns and Benimaru. |

| Actually, nothing hapened this episode I feel like. More of a preparation for the big fights I suppose. We got a bit of Burns vs Shinra and Joker, but I wasn't blown away by it, if I'm being honest, especially animation wise. The episode was enjoyable either way, and I'm curious to see how Gold's power works! Edit: Weekly reminder that the opening grew even more on me, and it's really cool. |

It's not like they haven't been saying this ever since the season started, and in the end we know they will be defeated either way.
