I see a lot of people disliking this season and the rating being much lower. I just finished rewatching s1 and s2, and watched s3, I honestly thought it was the best season. Everything about it was amazing imo. Idk maybe it’s that I watched the whole anime in one go. I didn’t feel any apparent issues with pacing like some may suggest. And I personally loved the last episode. I much preferred the crazy lore drop and sort of truth reveal rather than some cliche fight.

I gave season 1 and 2 an 8 and this season gets 3 from me. Was this anime always this bad? Did my tastes change during the past few years?

i just thought it was the least interesting season its as simple as that. though the last episode was probably my favourite episode of the entire series so far.

i completely agree with you, the people are pretty weird abt it, there are also just dumb twitter people who cannot go a second without mentioning "HEY THIS HAS UNNEEDED FANSERVICE I HATE IT BUT I STILL WATCH IT CUZ IM A HYPOCRITE", but yeah this seasons 2nd half was strong asf 🤌🏻🔥

Most of the complaints were about fan service which totalled a whopping 35 seconds in the whole season. Literally. I made a video about it lol. Besides that I heard people say it was more boring which was a silly complaint the fights were awesome. I think they just got spoiled so anything that isn't peak Benimaru level is bad. Being a part 1 probably hurt it a bit though since it set up a lot and now they have to wait

the first episode baited people that it will be high production quality well most anime starts that way anyway but ye it has similar to even worse production quality than season 2

I felt like them suddenly making the two religious factions essentially merge was sort of an ass pull and kind of wrecked what the two previous seasons were building towards, though granted I'm not a fan of this franchise anyway.

production was also really kinda bad, especially towards the end. the Kaiju they fought had bad CGI and also felt like a filler fight. like fighting a Kaiju gets boring after you see thirty of them. apparently defeating it somehow triggered the first piller... I guess. not very intuitive tbh.

I never thought I was disappointed in Fire Force season 3. I gave it a 7/10 because it was good but the main reason why I got disappointed is CGI.

CGI always made me feel less excited during the combat than 2D animation combat. Like how did the anime go from the best 1980's Dragon Ball Z combat than today with a cheap CGI that ruined the excitement ever.

When I first started watching S3 I felt like I was gonna drop it until I reached Arthur's fight.
Idk y, I was just bored with it.
I didn't like the end bit about how shinra and the other girl were just cool with each other.
That's y I gave it a lower rating than the other 2 seasons

The quality was just as good as the first two seasons. It's fresh in my memory from binge watched all three seasons over the last month or so. Dunno what you guys are smoking.

I love this anime, but it has some faults. With the waiting for a new season, the sense of wonder kinda fades and people become more critical of the faults. It could also be argued that the writing in latest season is a bit worse. Plus social media freaks who dont even watch anime but will hate on all kinds of fanservice.

The quality was worse than its predecessors and, at least for me, it felt like this season had a lot of padding. I haven't read the manga so I'm not sure how it's there, but stuff like the first few episodes or Arthur's little arc felt like they overstayed their welcome

Oh bro it’s quite simple during April so many ppl were complaining about the fanservice and Tamaki even though the fanserivice scenes weren’t even that much at all in this season, but ppl like to exaggerate and complain about the fanservice which I personally love imo it adds flair to this anime but I guess the ppl that hate watch this show don’t see it as the same way I do😕

Plus it annoys how ppl have been complaining about Tamaki for SIX YEARS NOW like you’d think a person would stop watching a show they complain about a lot yk💀💀

I see a lots of commentaries that seem more cope than anything. Enen no Shouboutai was always ok with really great moments. But i watched this season in almost one go, and the pace was so slow that the 12 episodes could fit in 4 without losing anything. The battles were boring. Even the Burns fight that should have been peek was very underwhelming, like, its was so bad animated that at one point, their blows looked as if they haven't any weight at all. I almost felt at sleep in episode 11 out of boredom. Episode 12 was the best, by far, because was the best paced, fitting the fights and lore.
