| Fuckin' Funai. At one point, karma gonna strike him down. But all in all, Kaiji, and mostly his group is in deep shit, because his teamate lack of any ounce of subtlety and strategy. They may betray him. Honor mean nothing when your life is on the line. Though, that may be the flaw in Funai bet. He bet on the fear he pressured on these guy and the fact that he based their alliance on honor, but I'm pretty sure that none of them give a shit about honor. |

| The tides of the battle just can't lean on one side, can it? This is getting more intense than ever~ Damn you, Funai. Not only did you manage to gather every remaining player into one group, ya also flipped Kaiji's strategy on its back. I'm curious on how they'll get out of this in 15 minutes. |

| the desperation... the huge amount of trust that kaiji gave those two, i felt it. how strong he must be, despite being pit against stress for the possibility of losing, to decline funai's offer. he's a smart man, definitely, but his odds are not 100% lucky all the time. there's such a great dose of the reality in a game like this - simple right? yet it's easy to lose, easy to cheat, easy to win, everything is thrown on the table. raw human emotions are more than ever apparent. i don't want to say that this anime is a masterpiece so early into the series even though the word is budging at me, since it is truly awing. |

| That was really a great start with Kitami but that damn Funai made things interesting. |
| Man, so far I'm loving this show. The art style is very unique, the suspense leaves me on the edge of my seat, and Kaiji is an interesting hero in that he's smart and has that edge of badassery while also being unafraid to show vulnerability. I like how Kaiji's favor is constantly in flux because that's how it is in a poker game. The odds of victory are always wavering and Kaiji's odds are the exact same. And wow, Funai is such an asshole...and he behaves like a predator. It makes you wonder if he's a "repeater" because he enjoys messing with guys he sees as pathetic losers (and, therefore, easy targets). |

| These pathetic guys are so annoying, Kaiji is clearly a good guy but sometimes I wish he wasn't and just got out of there already. It's not like they are his friends, he's in this whole situation because of one of them and the other is just a random dude... I still hope they all win but more so I hope Kaiji's kindness won't be his downfall. |

| In episode 6, it seems that Kaiji's allies did not pray. And our brothers meet a new (old) friend, Funai. And he puts a spoke in the wheel again. And our trio is in a dangerous situation again. Good thing I don't know any spoilers. Hallelujah. |
