| Mu actually goes for Mugen, now he reaches the peak of those mugen words. Kinda cool, huh? But to reach that, Tokitou needs to sacrifice all the good times on the past, with twin brother, mother, and father. No wonder he got those amnesia. Tho i do agree by how the narrative isn't really astonishing as how its disrupt the flow of the action pack that just happens. Tho, suppose to make it peak next, so i feel like this episode is a decent to portray Mist Hashira character by those far. Now whats left shall be my queen to tell her backstory as Kanroji, right? Kanroji birthday, and i just know it now? How shameful! |

| I didn't even know Tokitou had a twin brother, that's good to know. unfortunately he lost his parents this way, it's very sad. I liked the episode, the way Tokitou came back on the scene was really good, that sword of his looked really beautiful. |

| As was in the manga, this arc has a lot of character backstory, and even a demon backstory. Muichiro's backstory is as tragic as you'd expect it to be, though for all the wrong reasons. His brother is right about how their father was foolish enough to try and harvest a herb during the storm. In the best-case scenario, it would ease the pain of their mother somewhat before succumbing to her death anyway. Worst case scenario, he dies. Murphy laws apply here, so in the end the twins are left with no parents whatsoever. Honestly, Yuichiro's viewpoint and mindset are admirable, it's quite mature and bluntly realistic. One might say he's too pessimistic and brashly rude but that's the side effect of having both their parents die a completely avoidable death, after all, he was the one who tried to stop his mom from overexerting herself and his father from going out during the storm. What's NOT valid is how he belittled Muichiro, then again, it was all in order to protect him from anything and anyone. What a shame that a demon got to them first. Had Muichiro been a normal boy and not a prodigy, he too would've died. |

| ok i feel bad for calling muichiro annoying. i sobbed at his backstory..he was just a baby and lost everything once and then again a year later. such a kind soul .. and his brother ok im so sad. he was obviously just upset and angry at life itself for what happened and just wanted to protect muichiro. ok. ok my heart. best episode this season |
| Another nice backstory. Muichiro really went through the worst. Also Haganezuka going hard on the sword as always. |
