Still, if you like it I have nothing against you, everyone has their favorites regardless of others opinions and I am no stranger to that fact.

Oh come on Black Clover isn't nearly as bad as Tougen is.

Like I will admit, even if a manga is overall bad but has one good aspect like charecters or art, I will consider it good (Nue's Exorcist with art and charecter designs). And Black Clover has quite a few aspects that are good enough in my eyes to qualify it as my favorite.

And yet, having read half of Tougen's Manga, nothing, not a single aspect of it was good enough for me to want to keep reading.

Sure it's possible that if I kept reading and caught upto the recent chapter I would have probably found something that I liked but I litterally read 50% of what's available and not one reason for me to like it came up.

If (the current) half of the manga failed to make me like even one aspect of itself, why should I trust it with the rest of my time?

As I said before, if you like it I have nothing against you but for me personally, this shit just ain't hitting.

Sometimes these studios meddle with the original story to fit the change in medium and these changes can be good or bad. Having read the Manga there have been tiny changes that I do like so I'm waiting to see if they make a big change which I may or may not like.

If I do like the changes then I will continue watching the anime and if I don't like them then I will drop it like I did with the manga.

It's okay, the ED and OP are bangers. But the CGI blood is not really covering up the lack luster animation and the plot is taking it's sweet time to develop into anything meaningful.
I said before that I dislike the MC and hoped the supporting cast would make up for his shortfalls, but so far we have another punk with a chip off his shoulder and a girl who keeps saying sorry every other sentence. I might give this an extra episode to solidify my decision.

@pixelante My same problem with it, it is boringly generic.

Okay so the blood powers are fairly easy to understand. Your power depends on your imagination so that makes our MC pretty OP hahaha. I like this so far, It's not overly complicated and an easy to watch anime because of the simplistic power and plot element.

Third episode and this is still bad, even while they're trying to copy chainsaw man.

I think my favorite part is that blood likes like syrup, the CGI is that bad that they can't even get blood looking right. I've seen ancient games with better looking blood than whatever-the-fuck they're doing here.

Whole anime about blood and they can't render proper blood. And where the hell is all of this blood coming from if not the body of the user? She created a giant the size of 10 people.

The MC being an annoying yelling retard is still annoying.

Man idgaf what yall say idc if it’s “generic” this shit is just so good to me man my eyes were glued to the screen during this entire fight, I was NOT expecting Bocchi the Rock to summon a damn Titan and Kougasaki equipped chainsaws like he chainsaw man like this ep was pretty much Chainsaw Man vs Bocchi the Rock hahaha thsi shit so lit man😭🔥

Shiki finally realizing and releasing his Blood Release Eclipse ability was kinda cold ngl I wonder how far bro can take his powers and the same goes for Homare and Kougasaki, Homare damn near got next level potential with that titan and Kougasaki can probably make sword type weapons instead of blades with a jagged edge

I said twice and imma say it once more again but the opening is too fire man I keep repeating it I love the beginning part where they all the students are shown opening their mouths and showing off their black Oni horns and shit they all look so cold ong😩🔥🔥🔥

How many one liners are you going to steal from other shows and shove into the first couple of episodes?!! None of them make any sense! I don't have enough fingers to keep count! The music design in this show is truly awful. The bad writing stands out even more. Iida Satoki should be ashamed of himself. I expect better from him. Why is the main character so ugly? They really tried to make Blood Release sound cool like Domain Expansion but it sounds like bad voice acting. I rarely complain about voice acting in anime

Homare is already better than Sakura from Naruto in a single episode lol.

The episode was kinda good again. I'm curious about Homare and Jin's past now especially Jin.

The Oni orientation game of tag with Mudano and the rest of the class, with Shiki tagged with Jin Kougasaki and the seemingly girl of his dreams of Homare Byobugaura, which the punk scored first blood by interaction alone, the newbie's first target against Jin with his Blood Eclipse Release being a chainsaw Oni, the former stands no chance against Jin and his power by instinct alone. And Homare having to unknowingly interfere with their fight as the one who relies on others, her Oni blood transfusing into a pink-haired titan of a monster, it's the worst of worse situations.

With Homare falling unconscious due to the loss of much of her Oni blood, both Shiki and Jin find themselves facing a mammoth of her Blood Eclipse Release, it's the real deal and challenge to take down the titan in their own ways - Jin with his chainsaws, and Shiki with his guns and weaponry. Where the former fails to keep hold, Shiki one-shotting the titan takes quite the skill using his brains for brawn.

Shiki is slowly getting the hang of it, in a good way.

how do u translate "EVERYONE SHUT UP MY SHOW IS ON" into 'a show that ur actively hate-watching'?

the only saving grace this anime had (the somewhat cool battles) faded away with this episode. shit was so boring like pink haired shy woman who was made entirely for fanservice reasons shows up and has an insanely strong power but she has no control over it because erm duh shes a woman

i may be missing something since i viscerally hate ts so much but genuinely why. WHY. did shiki have to remember how to control his blood power on impulse? he already had this revelation when he was being interviewed by mudano, did he not?

everything is just so awful. so terribly written. i sort of got interested when the principal showed up and started talking about kids dying but then i remembered that the best character in terms of characterisation is shiki. the most insufferable protagonist i have personally ever seen. but at least hes consistent?

im really really gonna try hard to continue to hate-watch this and HOPEFULLY hate-finish it
but i really would not blame myself if i get to a point where i decide my time would be much better spent reading a fucking book
