| I don't think evil even really exists in a pure form at least in most cases and merely having an opinion is not anything I'd consider evil in itself. It's actions and intent of those actions that make someone evil. Certainly even if someone liked an "evil" character for unironically thinking everything about them and their views is correct and same as their own that isn't exactly evil just misguided at most. |

| My stance is that it's completely okay to like evil characters as characters instead of persons because that's the point. A quite common but significant example is Light Yagami, who's one of the greatest characters in fiction, but despicable as a person. |

| Stop worrying about what others say, especially those who are "too" closed minded to think deeper into the layers of a character's evil traits thru writing. As long as they make it a goal to not understand the character, they have "lost the plot" and clearly don't want to be "immersed" into the characters that they are watching on screen. |
