As the witches of Luna Nova Academy enjoy the summer vacation, a mysterious person arrives at the academy. Some students and teachers fell under her spell, Will our beloved witches break this curse?!
This is a Semi-Open Setup game. Meaning all the possible roles will be revealed upon game start. However, the exact distribution of the roles is unknown to the players. Roles that are not on the list cannot appear in the game.
This is a Full Reveal game. Meaning the role & alignment of a player are revealed once they die.
This game setup was generated from the C9++ setup (Team Liquid and mafiascum versions).
There are no bastard elements in this game. It is basic.
This is a 13 player game.
The are 3 possible teams (also called factions):
Town: There are x players in this team.
Mafia: There are x players in this team.
Serial killer: There could be 1 serial killer.
Rules:
The Golden Rule
This is a game and your main objective is to have fun! ^^
Be considerate of each other, don't get personal, and enjoy the game. The end does not justify the means, there's no excuse for being aggressive or offensive towards others (players and hosts).
Section I: General GamePlay
External communications (discord/PM/IRC/skype...etc) are prohibited.
Mafia will have their own secret club in which to talk and plan (during day and night phases).
Once you die you may no longer post (not even to say goodbye). You may post again once the game is over or in the dead players club.
Posting copies or screenshots or modified screenshots of role messages (PMs) is prohibited.
Asking players to post the contents of role messages (PMs) is prohibited.
No copy/pasting PMs from the host (for example when the host answers a question you asked). You can share the contents of a PM only if you paraphrase what was said. Pretending to break this rule is the same as actually breaking it and will result in a mod-kill.
Asking players to vote on your behalf is prohibited.
Do not keep notes on the game in any place within MAL. If you do this, and are caught by tagging/quoting players from the main game, you will be mod-killed. It is recommended to use https://www.quicktopic.com/ instead.
You are encouraged PM the hosts Luna and grave_robber with questions/concerns regarding the rules or the game/players.
During a day phase, players discuss and vote to lynch someone. Whoever gets the most votes at the end of the day phase will be lynched.
Any player can change and/or remove their vote.
Voting will follow the plurality rule with no lynch lock.
Tied votes will result in no lynch on Day 1. From day 2 forward, a tie in votes will result in a random lynch between all players.
Vote like this so we won't miss it:
Vote: UserName
Result: Vote: UserName
Change your vote like this so we won't miss it:
Change vote: UserName
Result: Change vote: UserName
Unvote like this so we won't miss it:
Unvote
Result: Unvote
Section IV: During the Night
During a night phase, the mafia, serial killer (if there is one) and town roles with night actions will perform them.
If you have a role with a night action and want to use it, contact the hosts via PM.
If you do not wish to take action that night, simply don't send a PM.
If you send in your action after the phase ends, it will not count.
Section V: Inactivity
Inactivity is frowned upon and makes the game boring. So please be as active as you can.
An inactive player is one that doesn't make 3 meaningful posts within 24 hours. This doesn't apply to night phases, you may post as little or as much as you want then.
A meaningful post is one that is game-relevant, saying hi/bye or posting a joke/funny pic doesn't count as meaningful.
If the hosts find someone inactive, they will be mod-killed or replaced.
Notes:
Please tag the hosts and bold your comment or inquiry if you post in the game thread.
Example 1: @grave_robber, is voting mandatory? Do we have to vote?
Example 2: @Luna, is voting mandatory? Do we have to vote?
Any rule violation will be dealt with according to its severity, up to and including a mod-kill and staff action.
Any situation not explicitly covered above is subject to the hosts' discretion and will be handled as the hosts see fit on a case-by-case basis.

A lot of people are having problems at the moment, including myself, so it seems to be a general problem >.< I'm informing the devs so they can fix it but it might take a while. Sorry for the problems :(
Edit: It seems refreshing the page helps. So if you get the error, try to refresh the page (make sure you save your reply before you do so it doesn't get lost).
Hilda Ogden sat at her table, shuffling cards absentmindedly. The time was right and she would make her move soon, but not today; today she would just do a reading and enjoy the sun. She arranged the cards face down and cleared her mind. She flipped a card and smiled:
"Ah, How fitting! I see the glimmer of hope and I am going to be the star!"

Our favorite Luna Nova Academy students were having tea in the garden when they saw a car approaching the gate. They didn't get many visitors this time of the year, curious, they run up to the school entrance to see who it is. The door opened and a strikingly tall and beautiful figure slid out, it was a woman! Beautiful and in a way very alluring, she spoke softly and asked for directions to the headmistress's office. The girls lead her into the building, where they ran into professor Ursula who offered to take her there herself.
The girls returned to their little tea party, blissfully unaware of the series of serious, even sinister events that were about to unfold.

Floofs (Andrew Hanbridge) has been revealed as the Innocent Child.
Andrew Hanbridge came to return Akko's hat again. He entered the school and immediately, he could see something had gone amiss. He decided to tread carefully and find his friends.

Nice to see you as well. I wont be participating in RVS but I will poke at votes that stand out. Sort that guy early and help him catch scum. You have my approval.

this is always a good thing
That's an amazingly astute observation you got there

I will try my best!!
I think in every game I have played with you, you have placed a random vote on another player or voted no lynch. Any reason for not participating?

No lynch isn't an option here and I haven't actually voted a player during RVS in a MAL Mafia game for about the last 8 games now I think. I don't feel RVS votes are needed to get us out of the early stages.
@Amai_yume I spectated on your Vengeful game so I have an idea of your scum game (though not great since you replaced in) and your town game (never read you as scum there). I look forward to figuring you out and hopefully working with you to catch scum. @Floofs I think you should be a little more liberal with your vote here than in previous games you are confirmed here (basic game no bastard mechanics) so use your vote to your advantage.
@AbuHumaid I will be trying to sort you early once again. Give me something to read you off of early please. @ironace did you role scum
What about me Togsy? I didn't place an RVS either.

There’s your answer, I would probably find it suspicious if you did place one

Worth mentioning that Yume was apparently pretty busy with exams in the Eevee game, so I’d expect her to play differently from that game as either alignment. I haven’t looked at Vengeful though, do you think it’s worth the read ?

I heard from Suzune that you were watching! She said you thought it was Me/Ruu till about page 3. I hope this posts.
I am super suspicious! Everyone better try their best to sort me out :P
In all seriousness, I don't participate in RVS.
RVS has it's benfits floof especially when it's a person you know well. You get to see exactly how they think of you in that spot and you can compare it to previous intros.

shot in the dark guess was you/Ruu but my real guess was actually Abu/Ruu half right.

duly noted. Yes I do think it's worth a read. It's a short game only five players One day phase.
