Honestly they need to do a remake of this anime, that ending was shit. Did they follow the manga or was this original material in Kurokami ??

Hm? Never. Despite being and fighting together, would someone actually develop romantic feelings for the other who caused you and the person you cared, trouble? Well, there are some but Keita is not :p

I know, they became one thru Tera Cycle or something. But caring is different from loving. Beside, Kuro is the irreplacable partner of Keita but not the love interest. They seems to be like siblings or comrades than lovers to me.

I'm sorry but kuro deserved ibuki... All akane did was protect and care for ibuki, never actually stating her feelings. She also betrayed kuro and ibuki and didn't explain. She got kuro hurt when it could have been avoided. Kuro actually saved ibuki many times, she helped him change his destiny/fate. Not to mention akane could always find someone else, while kuro couldn't because she's basically trapped on that island with only 1 other person, the last of the shimigani clan. Ibuki should have helped kuro rebirth the clan. (Although I think it might rebirth the masagami...) At the very least, keita and akane could have raised their family at the pure place, and transfer back when close to death. I know kuro caused a lot of destruction and pain. But I just can't wish for her to suffer 60+ years alone the way she did. I don't think keita would have wanted her to be punished like that either.

I'm aware the majority isn't on my side and my logic is flawed...

I'm pretty sure keita already forgave her. He stated twice (to my knowledge) he had no regrets being with her.

I would argue that Keita forgave her, I recently reread the manga and Kuro does gain feelings for Keita after training with him, and Keita argues with himself for seeing Kuro as something more than a partner, so I think it was a real possibility
