Isn't it too soon? As of Vol. 19 bell was level 5 only. And even level 8 or 9 Adventurers were unable to defeat the dragon.

@Ruthless_Lord anime and manga and light novels usually have rush endings anyway but usually it all works out

Where did you read that information? That they were that high a level? Was it in 19? I’m still on 18

I don't fully remember, it shoul be probably danmachi Fandom wiki page.
Zeus and hera Familia's adventures were too strong, they are even cleared Dungeon upto 70 or 71 level, and the current record is only level 59.
And also from what I have read ottar(warlord) grew among those crazy strong adventures, that's why he still thinks he is weak even at level 7.

Freya familia records. In Ottar’s POV he explained how Hera and Zeus children were shitting on both Freya’s and Loki’s since they had a lvl8 and lvl9. But they all got killed by the black dragod.

Ever since then Ottar’s goal is to beat them. Ottar doesn’t care about anyone who lives right now. He trains with a sole goal to reach what he saw in the past.

Depends on what how they’re gonna do it. We already know that Bell’s argonaut allows him to basically deal an attack of at least +1level.

I am also pretty sure Bell isn’t gonna do it alone, but have Ais (who may end up reaching lvl7 by that point, who knows), Lyu, Ottar, Alan, Hedin, Hengi and pretty much every other powerhouses on his side.

And if by the time of the final battle Bell reaches lvl6 (highly likely), Haruhime’s lvlup makes him lvl7. Then ArgoVesta has a potential to deal a lvl8 blow.

Ans it seems like Asterios and other Xenon will take part in that as well. All in all they will have a huge and powerful army barely capable to taking on a black dragon. And because Bell is the MC, they will win.

I hope last arc lasts at least 3 or 4 books. I don’t see it ending in 2 books.

Does anyone know if there are any fan translations for Vol. 20 underway? The 12 to 18-month gaps between official releases and Yen Press English releases are brutal...

I got the feeling that it's been axed or forced to end. Unless this arc lasts for years, things are clearly being rushed.

Look at Lyu, why was she moved to hestia familia just to be basically cutoff from the story in the next volume? For me, it feels like Omori had few more ideas for her but then got told "wrap it up already!". Also, this happened just when he changed editors, so it may be a sign...

Nevertheless, I feel like the ending will be bad, and the way Lyu was handled made drop it. I may check again once it ends, sad.
