| i have watched gintama, i read some of sakamoto days and im watching the anime, i never understood the comparison between them. Different types of comedy, different settings, characters have different personalities. The only thing i see comparable to gintama is that is has a trio (like most battle shonen titles) and lu character being chinese like kagura. Thats all i see tbh and imo i think its such a stretch. Looks more comparable to spy x family, at least of what has been showed so far. |
| Steal? Gintama is almost 20 years old, at this point. Did it inspire certain Shows? Sure. Is Sakamoto doing anything blatant or relevant to actually warrant any accusations? Hell no! The Chinese Girl, you say??? xD Dude, that character archtype is as old as Anime itself, almost SpyXFamily? A wholesome story about people having double-lifes isn't that unique^^ It's just a case of you comparing the Show with stuff that you've seen. Nothing more. |

| a show pays a few nods to gintama and the fans out here start calling it ''stealing'', anime fans like you give me secondhand embarrassment. spy x family was nothing original for that matter. |

| To be Honest it feels like a watered down version of gintama with Spy X Family vibes to it. It isn't as great as so many of its fans hyped it up to be and if anyone asks I will be recommending Gintama over this anyways |
