The invasion is on and she also had to face the truth. Got to also see a bit of what Lucrezia can do.

But honestly, this episode in itself and the arc gave an impression of self discovery for Tinasha. She's come a long way with Oscar, even this season. "I will protect this nation". She better keep promise on those words.

It saves us another time alternation, I thought for sure Valt wants to change the past. But if his real goal is to destroy it then I'm all for it.

But if all he really wanted was to destroy the Eleterrias', then he should have told that instead. Idiot threatening to destroy the whole Tuldarr.

Guess we'll see Oscr and Tinasha's marriage once again in the final episode.

Tinasha would never do that just because he asked her politely. Taking Tuldarr hostage is his only way to force her to comply, and he can only do it now that he's sure she's powerful enough to destroy an outsiders' artifact.

Honestly, this episode was great. They cut the usual stuff from the Lucrezia chapter, but it's fine, they had to focus on Valt and how all his previous actions now finally make sense. He's easily my favourite character in the series. I'm actually really hyped to see how they adapt the ending.

The final throes of the Tuldarr army vs. the Magdalsia army with the Witch of the Forbidden Forest, Lucrezia, in tow...or rather, the Mirror of Oblivion that resides in the king's chambers to be destroyed, with Valt's crucial information. And despite the vehement resistance from Tinasha, her trusting Oscar to handle the external affairs while the Witch of the Azure Moon deals with the mirror that has the king's soul trapped within to set both the king and Lucrezia free.

Still, when it comes to Eleterria, Valt is playing hard to get, and the alternate timeline that Oscar benigns to bring Tinasha into and make her happy, all this will be resolved once the issues face an end onto itself. But stopping Valt is clear and concise, his family of Time-Readers may be miniscule, but focusing all his efforts on destroying the nation that the Witch herself faced when registered by the forbidden curse, which that curse when all is said and done that leads back to both her and Oscar, for the grace of one and to sin by erring and altering history.

The threat to have both Eleterrias to eliminate the very faction that Tinasha had created, Valt is really the ultimate villain here.

@Tithain It was clearly written on Tinasha's face what she'll do next after Valt revealed his true intentions to her.

I think she'll agree to destroy the Eleterrias' and if that is the case... then I don't think there's any need for threats. Afterall if she did refused to give him Eleterria, she would "just protect the Tuldarr with her life" as she said that or something along the lines.

But we can take it like this, that he didn't knew how she would have responded to his request so he decided to threaten her. That's just my logic.

Actually one of the best unnamed memory episodes thus far. For the most part it was easy to follow along and had a nice mix of action, world-building/reveals and Tinasha and Oscar moments!

Everything has a cost, Tuldarr existing in this timeline means Cezar and other innocent lives don’t. But that also means Tinasha is vulnerable to being threatened, she’ll do anything to protect her people. The more I see of Valt, I’m convinced he’s a good dude that’s just fighting to protect what’s important to him like Tinasha and Oscar do. Sometimes that puts you at odds with people but doesn’t make you a bad person.

I’m a little confused on what destroying the artefact will do tho. So Valt wants to go to the future using the other half of the crystal presumably to change his girl’s fate and end this cycle but how does the crystal control that? Either way, excited to see how things end next week and hopefully we get that wedding!

This is why you never mess with the timeline. You should eventually accept what happens in the past and move on to the best of your ability. You keep having people want a redo, and nothing ever moves past a certain point. So there is no future. I'm assuming this is what this show is trying to point out?

I don't know what to think/feel about Valt anymore. Will he try to restore OG timeline, or just destroy those two spheres & remove himself from the Timeline??

Very good episode! Until now, this season or cour is as good as the first one. Depending on how the series will come to its closure, I may deem this season/cour to be better than the first one.

What a cliffhanger, but for anime fans who have been watching for a while, it's normal for the second to last episode to go like this. I understand Valt telling Tinasha that her former self is stronger than her current self. There are two ways that we can live our lives: 1. easy now, but it becomes increasingly difficult. 2. It's difficult now, but it gets easier. I wish for a happy end for this anime as well as for Oscar and Tinasha, but I'm envious of those who had difficulties first and then found ease because they understand what is worth suffering and what isn't.

Damn, the plot twist was an absolute peak.

Who would've thought that the reason for Valt to obtain both of the orbs was to destroy them in the future. What a turn of events. Now they are making him anti-villain, lowkey MC of his own story? Damn.

So I am guessing that he is fed up by all the time altering the history and he wanted to change that, but to do that he would need a specific person who also relates to the orb which would basically lead to our MC Oscar and Tinasha (as in every history they end up together) he also said that night "they belong to each other" but he would dare not make a witch his partner as she could entirely overpower him + would not listen to his request.

Well everything kinda makes sense now but I still love the OG story of Tinasha being a witch, when Oscar conquers the tower and takes her home that chemistry feels more delightful.

So destroying the spheres resets everything? Or nothing? Or something....that's what I gather.

I wonder if he hadn't died in the previous timeline he would be able to achieve the destruction of the eleterrias, since the previous Tinasha was stronger than the current one...

But the current one surpassed the older one after she absorbed Simila's incarnation and that's why after testing her, he now is sure that she can destroy the two orbes. That's it?

Valt's explanation didn't explain a damn thing. I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. It's probably good to destroy those but if we have to have a reset AGAIN, I will be very unhappy.

This episode made me consider if Valt is still a villain or a misunderstood anti-villain or something like that because even if his goal is now to destroy the two orbs does that mean that the current timeline remains or is everything reset for one final permanent timeline? Either way I don't trust him and with only one episode remaining whatever happens will probably be rushed but this episode was pretty good IMO.

Well, personally, I don't pretend to know how to write great stories, but personally, I'm fed up with these villains who come along and give you a whole lame speech like "Ah, we're the same, we did the same stupid things, we made the same mistakes, so we're the same", No, man, you've spent all your time making catastrophic dishes to cause harm to everyone, whereas half of what Oscar and Tinasha have done up to now, they've actually struggled and, above all, they've done it without wanting to, without knowing it. The fact that Oscar is going back in time, that's something he didn't know, whereas he's basically caused disasters everywhere up to now, and he comes back saying "Oh dear, we're the same, no, you're not the same" No, you're struggling to achieve, uh, to reach an objective, whereas they're struggling to avoid it. To avoid being poisoned, kidnapped, threatened with war... xD

No, I'm not angry xD

I'm kind of confused here, wasn't the failed sacrifice/demon god thing this timeline? Doesn't that mean she actually just destroyed Tuldarr in this timeline and then went to sleep? How is there a Tuldarr nation still?

Still a good episode though. I'm at least still interested in seeing what will happen next and the pacing was good.
