Shirahi's story was pretty impressive, though.
In the end, I would like to say that Amagami Yuuna is the best girl of this series. End.

So Uryu being picked as the next head ain’t just cause he’s the MC but cause he’s actually special. Finally some real explanation. I'm ngl, the story might have been completely off the rails from the plot, but honestly, it made things way more interesting. Still, I keep getting more into the whole world and fate stuff than Uryu and his destiny. Like, bro, a whole multiverse harem? LOL. Pretty much confirms there ain’t no alternate ending routes like I thought previously.

It has to stay in the same timeline, probably a harem ending or whatever, cause if it was alternate timelines, that’d mean the other girls’ matchmaking strings got straight-up cut. So yeah, Uryu just wiped out the idea of multiple endings. Now you either get the three sisters harem ending or the childhood friend, yeah, she never had a shot. And man, the way he basically rejects Shirahi by saying there’s no way in hell they could ever be together as long as Amagami exists? That’s some next-level rejection xD

Fitting ending, and yeah, while I didn't like this arc all too much, I can safely say that I enjoyed mostly every other arc in cour two... That is, cour two. Cour one is really just your bog standard harem ecchi that does nothing different. At least in cour two they played around with it's unique fantasy element, and hey, for the most part, they executed it pretty well. Don't know if it follows this pattern going forward, but if it does, I'll be glad to seat through a season two any day.

Simply put this is a parallel world, though they are not dropping some heavy scientific terms, which do see their mentions when something like this gets discussed lol. It’s the god doing everything, so yeah, for someone who didn’t want to believe any of the stuff around god in the beginning, Uryu really came a LONG way. Not that he was satisfied with Yomiko’s explanations but it works. Though this being this, I’m still really mad we got last four episodes completely over someone, who in all honesty, didn’t deserve even a smaller segment in your most average episode. Even after doing all of that… SHE STILL THOUGHT SHE HAD A CHANCE BY CONFESSING.. *SIGH*

Just glad Uryu rejected her as plainly as he could’ve. Seriously, get off the screen ffs. This was never about you, and will never be as well. It might’ve took its time, but yeah, a happy conclusion in the end, in more ways than one( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Now yeah, wasn’t a big fan of the manga when started reading this, but yeah, it slowly grew on me. This adaptation in itself did do its work, I mean when we look at this, there really isn't something they’ve skipped or it wasn’t like we saw a sense of urgency from them when adapting stuff from almost every chapter. Barring a very few, I don’t think they skipped anything. At the end of the day, if you have cute girls in your work, it’ll sell. Not really particular for any girl here, I mean whoever wins, I’d be fine, except of course, someone like Shirahi, which would never happen anyway, but yeah. Had a fine last six months with this one, so yeah, a second season… I’d want to see xD

Finally, they came to an understanding in this timeline and normalcy is restored. The idea of matchmaking and the worlds also made this episode important as it ties everything together.

Uryu truly has come so far since his character debut. I mean, he became a better person. This episode also did have an emotional feel from Uryu's perspective. Was never a fan of Shirahi in this show but I did like her a little bit more after this finale.

Ah man great finale and way to wrap up Shirahi arc. I’m gonna miss this show so much! So sad to see my girls go because this was a very pleasant 6 month journey. One of the best harems. Every girl was great, uryu was a kickass mc and the story was interesting. Love that it didn’t rely on fanservice too! I’ll definitely be reading the manga. Feels like the mythology stuff really got going at the end

Considering how this arc started, I’d say we got a very happy ending here. I actually felt bad for Shirahi at the end and in hindsight it’s no way she could’ve expected her wish to turn out the way it did, but it ended up being a blessing(pun intended) in disguise for Uryu as he’s finally able to say how important the girls are to him! Shirahi having to abandon her pre-existing connection with Uryu is also very poetic imo because her big issue was not being able to see Uryu for how much he’d grown and wanting to go back to how things were before. Now she’s quite literally forced to create a new relationship with him as he is today!

“I never want to be apart from them. I want to tie the knot with the Amagami sisters.” They did it, they said the thing! Seeing both Uryu and Shirahi put their feelings into words was really sweet. Lol’d a bit at Uryu basically saying he wants to be with all 3 sisters though, truly a harem legend.

Wouldn’t be right if we didn’t end things with another iconic Uryu walking in on the girls changing moment 😂 this finale kinda summed up the show. Not too much fanservice, nice mix of that, emotional moments and character development. The author really knows how to keep things interesting and not get too one dimensional. Makes it feel like this is really a family. Great ending.

Brilliant finale
Glad to see that Uryu was able to return to his own world and that he could reject Shirahi properly and give her closure. Really enjoyed this show even though sometimes the plot seemed to be all over the place.

The finale giving us one last Yae-tier fantasy for the road made me so stupidly happy. Not all heroes wear capes, and some are airheaded big sisters.

A very comfy reality-bending ride. Hope someone saved one of their wishes for another season!

With Yomiko understanding both Uryu and Shirahi's confounding scenario, her explanation of connections that lead to branch worlds to tie the knot...sure confuses the hell out of everyone, but getting back to the old world by going back to the god whence the prayer was prayed, that's at least simple to understand. As for Uryu's memories being intact, it's clear that Yomiko already warned him in prior episodes if he were to attempt this, and it's something that the answer will only reveal itself in time to come.

To go all the way up to Kuragami Shrine to pray and get back to their old world, this is something that needs to be done, but Uryu sensing something amiss to reject the request, this is exactly what Yomiko told him of the price that has to be paid for this exchange, and Shirahi's paying for it that she will be forgotten. To Uryu, Shirahi may have her intentions clear, but him being wishy-washy, however, clear to return to the Amagami sisters and tie their knot, she can always forge a new one with him.

Uryu's finally back...though the reunion is bittersweet...

Tying the knot with this show, it actually ain't that bad after all!

Weird ending with all these connection and timeline mumbo jumbo. But from what I understood the fox god/mother? probably restored Uryu memory in this world so that's why Shirahi failed. She still didn't really want to go back and just doing it for Uryu sake. Just like last episode she coming very weak character where she started selfish yandere I expected more drama out of this.
She got rejected missed her last chance to kiss and went back to og timeline. Where according to Kurogami god she should have lose all connections to Uryu right but they are back partying next day like nothing happened, very confusing. I don't think this arc should have been included this season. It isn't that good weakest of 4. Either end with Yuna arc or give few more episodes after these. Just doesn't feel right.
Main thing about this was hint Yomiko may also be a god? And Uryu all but admitting he love all three of them.

Overall great anime which kept getting better every episode. No way near the best harem I have seen mainly due to lack of comedy having more serious tone. Though it's good and different on his own right. Uryu is solid lead one of the better harem MCs. None of the girls are bad. Yae is my least favourite but her antics are real fun. Asahi had the best development and her arc was the highlight of the anime. But Yuna best girl from very start. We believe in tsundere supremacy and Yuna outshines other two easily. Salt throwing is absolute peak.

Harem ending but if not Yuna ending☝️

I was rooting for Uryu to go back to the original timeline and he did, and of course he ran into the girls in their underwear and he got the classic nosebleed but this time it was also with tears of happiness lol. Regarding Shirahi, even though he rejected her and she was warned that if they went back to their original timeline they would not be in a relationship she still thinks she can create a new connection with him (good luck, she has 3 beautiful shrine girls to compete against).

Anyways, this series grew on me over time and it was great that it was 24 episodes long but I hope that a 2nd season is announced at some point soon.

been a fan of the manga since chapter 5 after seeing some of the gorgeous panels and the anime is just fine

impossible to replicate Marcey's art on the small screen and it had some really weird decision (like changing Shirahi's introduction, making her arc feel a lot less impactful and the complete butchering of the school festival chapter, which basically they eliminated 90% of it)
but its nice to hear the voices for the cast, specially the girls, since they had voices for some youtube ads, but they changed several times

6/10, i encourage everyone to read the manga from the beginning, art is beautiful and some of the arcs feel different from the anime

1:50 everyone shaking their head here in unison 🤣

7:00 what is going on?! 🤯

15:30 He said the thing! 🤭

Poor Shirahi man 🥲 cursed childhood friend zone trope. She was a great girl. Not as bad of a rejection like Hina from Blue Box, but still.

18:38 oh dear 😅 I knew it. Deja vu.

21:30 oh my god 🤣🤣🤣 Hondo Kaede voicing Yuna here who also voiced Hakari from 100 Girlfriends. I hear it now 🤣 especially with these scene right here

My 13th and FINAL Fall 2024 anime has finished! 🙌🏻 Fall 2024 anime season is finally over for me. Wow, man. This was a very enjoyable anime. Love this plot of the MC Uryu going around and helping each girl individually with their personal problems. Very supernatural. Yae best girl 👌🏻 Yuna and Asahi are both great too. Shirahi too.

I cant believe its been 6 months, this anime has been so good and I am sad to see it end. Uryuu is definitley one of the best harem mc's out there and really cares about the Amagami sisters, Shirahi's arc was most interesting and with the most emotions and character development which was nice to see!

Overall 10/10 anime!

Yomiko carried the series. Really loved the look in her eyes when she said she was on the side of the gods.

I'm assuming Uryuu kept his memories he's being tested by the gods. If he succeds in his trials by some mystical reason, he'll be able to legally marry all 3 of the sisters.

Feel bad for Shirahi but the childhood friend curse is too strong. Love her though. Was nice to see everyone together for the finale. Mahiru san so pretty.

Was fun watching this animated, glad it was two cour. Hoping for a new season sometime. Also while I got used the new seiyuus for the sisters, I still think the OG cast is the perfect match.

And Yae wins! And marries Uryu. And everyone lives happily ever after. Yay!

Nope, that's not what it happens. But Yae was still the best.

I have to say, things got very complex in these last episodes with Shirahi, which left me wanting more. The thing about "Tying knots" now is clear, it isn't just marriage.

But that's it for this one (at least for now)

And I thought Shirahi’s arc was pretty much done in the previous episode, turns out one final trial awaited her and Uryu. Not before Yomiko poorly explained the alternate worlds and exposed herself as a god tho lol, I knew something was up with her but I wasn’t expecting a god, I thought they had rules or something because of Chiharu’s ways, but I guess she’s allowed to be among the living for some reason, that is a really intriguing reveal but I’m not sure what it means for the story overall, I guess the better question would who’s side are the gods on lol.

And the last moments between Uryu and Shirahi were sweet and sad at the same time, that goodbye was beautiful and heartfelt, but Kuragami made it sound like Shirahi would be losing her connection to Uryu, but there she was at the end with the rest of them at the barbecue, either I’m missing something or what we saw at the end was after she already reestablished things with Uryu, not sure exactly but it was nice to see her there. And lol ain’t that perfect, Uryu found the Amagami sisters the same way he found them before, in their underwear, that along with Asahi’s hourglass expansion wish was some very nice final fanservice of the show, it wasn’t super heavy on it but what we did get was very tasteful.

And that was it for the harem with a side of divine intervention anime, it wasn’t the best harem anime I’ve ever seen but it was still very good. I may not have been super into the supernatural elements but I have to admit that it’s something I’ve never seen in a romance before, the arcs dedicated to each girl in the 2nd half of the show were so good, Uryu was able to get closer to these girls in a way no other harem MC has before. And speaking of Uryu, this man is a legend of a harem MC, he’s definitely among those that deserve his harem with no issue, I wish this man nothing but the best in the story from here. And as for my best girl, man it is so hard to pick just one, but I’m personally leaning in Asahi and Yuna’s directions, Yae and Shirahi of course were amazing too but there’s something about the other two that drew me in more, Asahi’s arc was probably by favorite of the show too. And now I hope we get a Season 2 one day, this is definitely a manga I might check out eventually too with the good things I’ve heard about it, and I also hope more greatness continues to come from Drive, they did a great job with this one overall!

Very good, both the ending episode and the series!

Shirahi is a good-hearted girl.

Uryuu and Shirahi decided themselves. Hope Shirahi to befriend Uryuu one more time and find a happiness of her own.

Yae remains my favorite Amagami sister, but both Yuna and Asahi are neat girls, too.

Wishing for a second season, which would be much welcome.

I really liked Uryu's dynamic with the Amagami sisters, with those entities playing tricks on them, then making them reflect, and finally warning them about their decisions.

For some reason, this last episode felt bittersweet, perhaps because it seemed like a closed ending, even though Yuna never directly confessed her love to him like Asahi and Yae did.

As a harem anime expert this is a certified S tier in its genre ! Every single heroine was stellar in their own way, the story was super interesting and builds upon the character development, animation and art was stellar, great music, and UwU is THE way to design a harem lead. He's not too passive, and he takes charge, but also he isn't too forward and at times he's bashful/shy. Also big points for not being an obnoxious pervert

Hopefully we get a season 2 within the next 2 to 3 years because this was so good from start to finish ! Also Asahi best girl !

Man, this last arc made me feel so bad for Shirahi. Can't we just make her one more of the Amagami? We've already seen her as a shrine maiden and everything :'(

There has been some mystery about Yomiko all this time but I didn't expect her to turn scary all of a sudden. And she even has her own animal mask too... I'm so curious about her!

Glorious last look of the Amagami sisters in their underwear. That scene was hilarious xD.

I am going to miss the Amagami sisters. I love them, their seiyuus did such a great job voicing them. Not to mention Chika Anzai voicing Shirahi which I barely recognized, it was great.

And of course, Uryuu. I really liked him as MC.

Anyway, I'm sad, I'm very sad that this show is over. I was expecting to like this show but I ended up liking it a lot more than I expected, it was great. Hopefully there will be news of a S2 in the future and the sooner the better.

This show couldn't be dark if it tried. It would be something else if "breaking the line" would result in Shiahi's parents actually living so she never went to the orphanage in the first place, but no, she's at the BBQ, lol. As a whole, I did like the characters well enough to give the overall show a 7, but unless they do a season 2, they could've advanced the story more.

Feels bad for Shirahi but Uryuu couldn't stay in this alternative world... well at least everything is resolved for the anime's finale so it's all good!
Overall it was a pretty good adaptation to be honest, I read the manga for years and even though I think the manga is still better, I like how they treated the anime overall especially by giving it 2 cours, the animation is nothing spectacular but for this kind of story it works.

CINEMA

Yomiko-san will always be creepy to me, and also Kuragami-san is really spooky as hellll, cool animal masks tho... so Yomiko-san is also a "kami"? given that she has a rabbit mask.

Feels bad for Shirahi, it was like she was a sacrificial lamb just to tighten the knot of Uryu and the Amagami sisters.
What a way to say Shirahi is a losing heroine, literally severing their connection (in terms of being together as lovers).

With this whole Enmusubi thing, it's really possible that Uryu is fated to be with the sisters, harem end harem end!

I think a second season is possible, time for me to hop on the manga in the meantime.

Shirahi should've known that she was never meant to win, and that shit breaks my heart.

Usually, I don't like harems but this wasn't so bad. I think that whoever Uryu chooses, I'm content with that since he has a great bond with them.
