Another fantastic episode, you can feel all the build up like it's going to explode at any second,

It seems our three younglings are all slowly going their own way while Kondo is strangely being passive about the whole thing but Hijikata won't have any of it anymore and i'm guessing Okita will recruit Hajime next episode


Also i gotta say this season embrassing a full arc story instead of an episodic format is such an upgrade, i'm not scared to call this part one of the most interesting thing to come out this season, hope the general score hits 7 soon !

I guess it's coming to the confrontation next week. I mean something has got to give, Seriwizawa is getting more and more out of control, they need to cut him out or down. We all know which option it will be, this being samurai, after all. I think he wants to die now. Probably what upset Nio so much.

Nio, found out that serizawa don't have longer to live or he was the reason for that girl death and is setting up the stage, and I think he is going to sacrifice himself, so that Miburo be the heros of the town.

@UtakaSenpai That feels right to be me. Also why he let himself be confined to that room without any fight. So totally unlike him.

This series is totally underrated. I appreciate it more with each episode as the story develops, and it has a dark side. The characters are quite well-defined, and the animation and design are very good.

I think it's because the first season was narratively a bit mediocre. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it, but it didn't really suck you in.

2nd season, however, is doing a very good job of doing that, however. The fact that I feel the same as Nio about Serizawa, where I can't bring myself to hate him despite some of the things he's done and the way he's acting, shows that the writing is great so far this season
