In fact, Helck is Action Fantasy and Comedy in that order respectively, but thematically speaking it's a typical anime with elements of medieval fantasy, different races and magic... there's also the issue of how MAL defines anime genres; in my opinion, there are still many anime that are missing tags.

To be fair, the tone at the beginning of the anime/manga of Helck is vastly different from the majority of it's second half. Like this quickly becomes a very dark and epic tragedy-fantasy. Just letting you know that if you like to read manga, Helck's manga is not one to miss out on for the best experience possible. Artwork and pacing are far better there.

Helck is amazing and starts off so silly but gets dark really fast on the second half. I hope we get another season.
