| I feel like these aren't mutually exclusive options, and both (or neither) can be true at once... that said... I don't think anime weighs that deeply in my life other than being a source of entertainment. and anime is certainly a reflection of "real life"... even if it's just the manifestation of human fantasy, and not strictly based off of historical precedent. |

anime is inspired by real life not the other way around, if real life were inspired by anime we would all have giant eyes, multi colored hair and speak in japanese. |
