| Not a bad episode but i had too high of expectations. While it did stick close to the manga, their were still some changes. They made this show kid friendly so there were a few things that were different. Character designs were good, need to get used to them though. Overall, while i'm not too happy with the kid friendly changes, it was a good start. |

| ROFL. I >love< the dialogues! I laughed a lot watching this episode and Nagi's voice is just <3 . I have to get used to the Character Design as well, Faust. But the rest seemed pretty good and hilarious to me. The first 44 seconds I was laughing non-stop xD . Good show, too bad it's not in my AFL Team. [edit]: Also, am I the only one who instantly thought of Shinji's Father from NGE when Hayate's Dad was shown there? |

| ya Gendo Ikari was here lol. It was impossible to miss if you've seen Evangelion. anyway, Nagi is uber-kawaii. mad pedobait lol, no wonder she gets kidnapped all the time XD. Out of Rie Kugimiya's recent loli-tsundere roles, she's already placed higher than Louise in my book just cuz she's straight up cuter than Louise. "never cheat on me, got it?!" XD that just won it for me. we'll see if she beats Shana in my book soon. oh and narrator's awesome. kinda like Kyon, but not as sarcastic. |
| I didn't have that much expectations of it, since I randomly felt like trying it out after viewing this thread. But I have to say I liked it, can't say I disliked Nagi either =] Almost laughed to death when Hayate got hit by that car too ;x |
| It was pretty wierd although funny. I didn't like what they did in the beggining... starting up in the "future story" then changing to Hayate's background right after the OP. I don't know what to think yet so I'm gonna check the next episodes. Now, someone help me here >.> ..... is Dad a synonym to employer or something...? 'coz I didn't see Gendo on Hayate's father like everyone Oo... but I did see him on his employer instead >.> |

| The first thing I thought when I heard Nagi's voice was "KAGURA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kugimiya Rie FTW. I don't like it, but I don't dislike it. I hate Hayate's parents with a burning passion. I'll watch a few more episodes, hopefully I'll like it more then. |

| I liked it, thought it was really funny. The narrator sounds like the same one from Negima. I think this series will be interesting to see develop and should be pretty comedic. |
| Pretty funny, and Nagi was adorable, but I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this yet. It was enjoyable for the first episode... hopefully it'll keep it up. |

| Yay, I watched it. Let's see, I'll give it points for almost making me laugh. Yeah, I didn't but it was close. I giggled a bit. Anyway, I thought it was an enjoyable episode, so yeah I'll be sticking with this. Hayate and Nagi seem like they'll make a cute couple. |

| To be honest, I don't really like it. On the contrary, it is similar to Seto no Hanayome and thus, this is actually a really good one. Plus, Kugi takes the lead! The protagonist is a boy with terrible luck, almost extraordinary and impossible terrible luck. After confessing to Nagi in regards of kidnapping her for ransom, he spoke with a wrong choice of words and it gave Nagi a very misunderstood impression. She get the idea that the boy was falling for her and would like to go out with her. Thus, he asked for her number. Instead of asking for ransom, he identified himself at the start of the call. (laugh) How can Hayate be so stupid?! (laugh) Somehow, that scarf added to his original jacket-less outfit made him looked like Setsuna F. Seiei in the first season. *surprised* Considering that this anime is 50+ episodes, I will put it on-hold. |

| I thought this was very funny, I am pleasantly surprised. I particulalrly liked the role-reversal of the conscience. Oh, and Santa getting punched in the face was quite humorous. |

| Sanzenin Nagi sounds so damn cute, had to watch this anime after seeing Toradora!. So far, so good - it was quite fun to watch and there was that Santa moment I've seen so many times online. |

I still laughed, but not as much as I wanted to. So I hope the rest of the series makes me feel better, but after this I have this suspicious feeling that I'll wind up enjoying the manga a hell of a lot more. |

| That was an AMAZING first episode, the humor was unique and working, the art was decent, the seiyuus and music was AMAZING, and the male lead Hayate was equally amazing, for once we didn't have a dull brown haired protagonist that we're used to seeing so many times. Wakamoto for narrator makes me happy, I realized his voice the instant I heard it. Hayate is a fantastic lead, he's not dull. His life is hard and he knows it. He tries to work hard but it never turns out good for him. It's also incredibly entertaining to watch him do and say stuff. Overall I like him and plan to see more of him. Nagi was better then the typical tsunderes that you will see that is voiced by Kugimiya Rie. Her design was good, she doesn't seem to be pushing the tsundere stereotype too hard, and she's so darn CUTE. no wonder she gets kidnapped so often.  Maria has the same seiyuu as Sakuya from Touhou Musou kakyou so automatic +s for her. Seiyuus: Wakamoto and Kugimiya Rie so I can't complain about anything here XD Overall I have high hopes for this series! |

| Just a few minutes after watching the first episode & I already in love with this anime. The jokes & parody are random but were effectively used. Kugimiya Rie as always doing a good job voicing loli tsundere characters. And I still LOL at that santa & Hayate's parents. Hoping to see more action next episode. |
