Nice... So it is Year 2025 and we are going to 2026... I am curious what was the max speed in car you drived or you were in as a passenger Like I can start from myshelf... Fiat-Lada Model 124 The Fiat 124 is a small family car manufactured and marketed by Italian company Fiat between 1966 and 1974. I reached on this bird, the speed 75 km per hour... but some drivers can get up to 120 km per hour on this Fiat cars...

120-125 mph or so was my top speed in the highway, and I had that speed a few times. It was a very long, straight highway where I drove for about 7 hours in total during those days.

@ssvmdh: Mercedes S-class. I am not sure of the tire model. This was in Bavaria around Munich. There were no speed limits. Biggest issue I remember was that the speed difference between the slow and fast traffic was vast. You had cars doing 70 MPH (110 KPH) and others doing well in excess of 120 MPH (195 KPH) in another. On the day there was ideal conditions, clear sky and full visibility. Like I said though only bits of the autobahns had no speed limits so you could floor it on those sections.

I don't drive and I avoid cars whenever I can. Even when I'm simply a passenger, I'm bracing for that moment where we'll be waiting at red light and some guy driving with 120km/h who has consumed industrial amounts of alcohol will slam into us from behind. And there's nothing you can do about it with the exception of training your neck until it's thicker than your thighs like Formula 1 drivers do, which unfortunately, however, increase the risk of sleep apnea, so it's always a lose-lose situation. In a thousand years, cars will be remembered as nothing other than a brief transitional phase in a decadent era of transportation!

@xthewarwithinx Yeah... Looks like a good car... The first-gen Honda Fit (2001-2008) is known for its revolutionary "Magic Seat" system, offering exceptional cargo versatility, reliable and fuel-efficient i-DSI/VTEC engines (1.2-1.5L), compact size, and surprising interior space due to its "Man Maximum, Machine Minimum" design, making it a practical and economical urban car The first-gen Honda Fit (GD chassis, ~2001-2008) is known for zippy, city-focused performance, not outright speed; with around 100-109 horsepower from its 1.5L engine, it offers brisk acceleration for its size (0-60 mph in the low 9-second range for later models), good fuel economy, and surprisingly capable handling, but highway noise and a modest top speed (around 115-120 mph) are typical characteristics.

@ssvmdh That was something I really liked about it, despite it's small size it had a lot of space inside. It did well in the snow too, the only thing was that it had pretty low clearance so if the snow was too deep it would struggle lol. Mine was white, and I had the 1.5L one (actually I think the 1.5l was the only one, I don't think they sold them with the smaller engines in America). I drove it out in the woods a lot too, I took it lots of places that it probably shouldn't have gone. But it always made it out, I never really got it stuck too badly. Probably the worst that happened other than it getting killed was one time the alternator died while I was driving over one of the mountain passes. basically all of the electronics died but I managed to pull a U-turn without the power steering and it made it all the way back to my house on what was left in the battery. There isn't cell service on that pass so I didn't really want to stop otherwise I would've had to hitchhike or something. It was kind of tight in the engine bay so getting the old alternator out was difficult, but surprising the new one went back in easily.
