Synopsis

Kei and Chiyo have been each other's best bros for the past ten years, and now they're living in neighboring apartments as adults. Chiyo thinks that after spending most of their lives together, he knows everything there is to his friend...until he walks in on Kei, moaning his name in the dark.

Background

By My Side went on hiatus after the release of chapter 5 in the May 2017 issue of Cheri+ on March 30, 2017, and wasn't finished until the release of the print volume on September 20, 2019, which significantly changed certain elements of the story.

The series was published digitally in English by Fantasista through Manga Planet from August 30, 2021 to September 5, 2021.
