I can't believe I actually read this...
TBH it messed my mind up to see something as serious like suicide, abuse, and other topics be treated in a glorrifying manner.
Some of the characters were fine, however it mostly focuses on Shiina and not the actual protagonist of the story; you basically have to find out everything about him as the story goes on, which to me makes it quite realistic, since it's almost like you're meeting a new person irl, where you know nothing about him at the beginning and slowly learn more as the story progresses. And why tf was she so obsessed with the
...
protagonist ex? I swear I saw more tension between them than with the protagonist.
Shiina is completely crazy, to the point I was reading and couldn't figure out the reasoning for why she wanted to drag everything and everyone onto what she wanted, which is death. I understand she wants to see death, but girlie pop, can't you just do it yourself and not drag everyone with you?
We also never got to know more about her "mentor"/ex or what exactly happened between them before she met the protagonist... They did show how they met, but what about everything else? This also implies with her bestfriend; I wanted to see more of her, seeing her trying to fight bite and nail to get Shiina's attention, but no, she appeared a few times and never showed up again until the end.
In conclusion, this manga opened a new part of my mind in ways I never knew possible. And the ending? Left more questions than answers...
If you like the whole psycho girl factor, go ahead and read this. If you've experienced stuff like suicidal thoughts, abuse and anything like that, DO NOT READ THIS MANGA. DO NOT GLORIFY THE ACTIONS SHIINA DOES.
