After awaiting for the final volume to get released in English and finish collecting them all I got to say it was worth it. The story in this manga is focused more on Eu than any other character, but still features its proper display of other characters as well. Throughout the story many strange perverted situations happen that gives the book its romantic comedy. If you are looking for a book with strange situations, but hilarious ones then I recommend reading this manga. "Kore wa Zombie desu ka?" revolves around Ayumu, an extremely boring high school student (who's also zombie... and a "magikewl girl") who has a thing for ''the little sister type'', even making the girls call him ''Onii-chan''. From the very first page, the series leans into lolibait. Magical girl Haruna embodies the average "loli" trope: she’s loud, obnoxious, and looks and ACTS like a child. tl;dr: A manga with decent comedy and an amusing cast but that feels too rushed and random to properly develop anything.
This is the manga adaptation of a light novel series. There’s also a two-season anime adaptation of this light novel series, though this manga goes a bit farther than that but not by much. The core of this manga is playing with common tropes and themes in ridiculous ways.
