This thing is one of the fastest if not the fastest romance comic. By that I mean like, the romance between the two leads develop so fast. Not that I have anything against it. It's just that you cannot avoid thinking like 'wow that was fast. Just like that.' It's not really a bad thing though. It's just that, like, yeah.... I guess it's something that you should read if you bored with slow pacing romance.

Nonetheless, I still enjoy it and like it so much. I await for an update desperately every time. One more thing, the leads looks good together. They are both supposed ...

As a huge fan of the older guy/younger girl thing (in manga, not real life - in real life, run as fast as you can), this story inherently doesn't work. It dodges a lot of the traps that works in genre fall into - disrespectful, domineering boyfriends who don't acknowledge the fact that they need to treat their significant other with care especially because of the age difference - but it tosses those aside for a rarer, but huge and glaring flaw: complete unreality.

Takara Akegami's "Coffee and Vanilla" was often times listed as "most generic shoujo" series, and against my better judgement, I wanted to experience it – and an experience it was.

Maina character Risa Shiragi is introduced within 6 panels of the first chapter, and hers backstory goes like this: timid but now good looking uni student, turning people down because of the lack of experience due to hers "unpopular saga" high school life.
To ease hers mind, she goes into "Coffee and Vanilla" starbucks-like cafe, where she is being hit on by ikemen just to be saved by random, better looking guy in a suit.
