Mixed Feelings
Given that most reviews are long analysis type reviews, I'll try to keep this tl;dr.

Characters are mostly alright, with the main ones being "OP Edgelord" for most of the arc and the other being so forgettable that I can't remember much about her. Obviously, though, it's hard to deny that, as a show, SAO changed anime. Being in the target demographic when it released, I was riding the hype train from day one, and A-1 pictures delivered with some damn good animation, music and a pretty cool premise given the incoming rise of VR tech at the time.

Inferno Cop (or: How I learned to stop worrying and love limited animation) is Studio Trigger's p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ ̶n̶a̶r̶c̶o̶t̶i̶c̶s̶ ̶f̶u̶e̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ first foray into anime production. It serves as a masterclass on how to make a great show with the budget of your average powerpoint presentation.

Not once in all 13 episodes did I find myself bored by the story or visuals, though I did stop to question what I was watching at various points. Inferno Cop somehow manages to keep the viewer enthralled in it's ludicrous story, yet does so with less motion than your average asthmatic brick. It's humour may as well be improv with how ...
