I hate it, because it makes me sounds childish. I've tried to speak normally. I can if I'm conscious of it, but I can't help it most of the times. No longer!
Currently lost trying to find out what I'm going to do with life, with my remaining freedom before I have to succumb to an arranged marriage. (currently taking the mantle of being the backbone of my family. Atm I only sees marriage as another burden and responsiblity I don't need)

Anime preferences
I don't watch all anime. I pick anime that interest me. I prefer long running anime or anime that has multiple seasons.
The most important thing for me to pick an anime is the ART, the MAIN CHARACTERS.
ART
I don't watch anime with unattractive character design (completely subjective) or old styled art.
I like unique and different kind of art (as long as I find it attractive).
I don't like character design that overly cutesy or moe. But it doesn’t necessarily mean I hate moe.
I love dark and bleak atmosphere more.
MAIN CHARACTERS
Main characters is the most important of all. No matter how good the other elements are, if you hate all the main characters, you'll never enjoy the anime.
Types of characters I hate
- Most Tsundere Girls. [Mikoto, Kurisu, Haruhi]
- Bossy Girls that treats others like shit. [Sakura, Nami, Haruhi]
- Manipulative Bitch. [Nami]
- Incredibly perverted Guy. [The fat guy in Air Gear, Mineta]
- Useless Girls. Especially those girls who actually can fight but ended up doing nothing (or worse, ended up a damsel in distress). [Shiemi, Sakura, Chrome]
- Spoiled Girls. [Himederes, Sena]
- Overly noisy or talkative Girls.
- Girls that can't be honest with herself. Denying everything. This trait mostly belongs to tsunderes.
- Noisy airheaded Girls.
- A strong willed girls, cool, strict, calm, and collected, respected by all of her friends or subordinates, BUT when around the one she like, she turned all shy and lost her cool and worse, she slowly turned from the once a cool leader to a shy teenage girl in love. Well if it's only once in a while it's understandable, as long as it don't interfere with her character and her capabilities. [Yui, Tsukuyo]
- Overly dense Guys it's not even funny
Well, there are always some exception.
Usually, hating on main characters is the main reason I stopped watching an anime.

+ Yandere, yangire, psycho. [Rena, Yuno]
+ Sadists and merciless. [Yukimura, Neuro, Eustass, Bakugou]
+ Genius, intelligent, clever, strategist, perceptive, confident. [Erwin, L, Shinichi, Neuro, Oreki, Kenma, Hide]
+ Clever, sadist, manipulative Guys. [Karma, Neuro, Judal]
+ Arrogant/cocky, self-centered, independent, sharp tongued/foul mouthed Guys, sometimes look down on others, sometimes is an asshole/jerk, but not only talk, they can prove they don't only talk big but have actual impressive talents/skills. [Aomine, Atobe, Bakugou, Eustass, Black Star, Yukimura]
+ Silent, don't talk much, mysterious. [Nagato Yuki, Ulquiorra, Hei, Hibari, Eucliwood, Kikyo]

+ Strong, powerful, determinded Guys with anger issues/a badass hot-head. [Eustass, Bakugou, Eren]

+ My personal self-insert, a combination of: Shy, awkward, fangirl/fanboy/otaku/fujoshi. [Juvia, Bartholomew, Deku, Erika, Nagato Yuki (the human one, not the alien)]
But the one I'm most attracted to is either strong and/or genius character.
Then comes silent/calm/collected/self-assured and/or stoic/expressionless character.
As for appearance wise, I mostly attracted to silver hair and ashy blonde and red hair.

- The badass motherfucker who gave Eustass Kid (fellow rookie pirate with the highest bounty) the finger without a care in the world

- Character flaw: might has a sadist and creepy side to him (might has to do with his power)
- Has one of the saddest backstory, revealing something very important to the plot
- Character flaw: there is a little tsundere side to him
- Is an ally of Luffy (the MC) and is a very important character involved in one of the biggest mystery in One Piece
- Has an incredibly attractive design in my eyes
- Tattoos, slender but muscular, abs, sideburns, THEM ROCK HARD ABS
- Voiced by my favorite seiyuu
- Has unique way of addressing people by adding "-ya" at the end of it (it's a polite speech but he said it in a condescending way most of the times)
- In his arc, it was revealed he has had one clear goal from the very beginning and had planned the whole thing this whole time, willing to sacrifice everything to achieve it
Bakugou Katsuki
- Smart, despite of having an attitude and appearance like a delinquent, he is one of the best in class academically. Everyone always underestimate his intelligence. But every of his attacks is carefully thought out. He is not the type to just blindly blow up his opponent
- Has strong quirk, and strong physical body to back it up (that he trained himself)
- Is very talented in almost everything, but he also works the hardest than everyone
- Knows what he wants, and is trying his damndest to get it
- Character flaw: incredibly prideful and has a really bad anger issues and superiority inferiority complex. With reasons.
- Super badass
- Plenty of hilarious moments
- Literally stops at nothing to achieve his goal
- Character flaw: he is an arrogant asshole most of the time
- Gives 0 fucks about people opinion
- Has an incredibly attractive design in my eyes
- Spiky ashy blond, piercing red eyes, muscular, abs, sideburns, THEM BICEPS, RIPPLING BACK DEAR LORD
- Has good fashion sense (his parents are apparently a stylist I heard lol)
- Voiced by favorite seiyuu
- The character who brings out core development for the protagonist and vice versa
- Complex character
- Originally a very shitty character (personality wise) but his character is going through a nice and slow development
- Has a peculiar way of speech, the way he says "-ya" in imperative sentences (not always though) and some other speech that's differrent from his peers such as how he calls people by insulting nicknames (whether he meant it or not), except those people who already gained his respect.
- Character flaw: It's save to assume there might be a tsundere side to him. Really bad at dealing with negative emotion. Anger issues. Overconfidence and ego. Inferiority superiority complex.
GENRE
I like:
- Action + Super Power
I simply like action.
- Adventure
I love the atmosphere of going on adventure, exploring new places, new challenge, new danger, picking up companion along the way, bonding, friendship. It's exciting and beautiful.
- Supernatural
I like things like ghost, magic, and spooky themes.
- War + Military + Survival
Action, thrill, drama, tragedy are usually in the package. Probably my most favorite genre.
- Fantasy
I love fantasy world, dragons, elf, fairies, magic, medieval, isekai. Also adventure usually inside the package, as well as action and super power.
- Horror
Good horror anime is a rarity. I wished there were more.
- Thriller + Suspense
Usually inside the package of horror, action, and war themed stories. This is probably the most important aspect I must find in an anime so I won't grow bored.
- Psychological
Combined with action and tragedy would be perfect.
- Mystery
I like it mostly as subgenre. I think it's a very important element to keep me hooked.
- Sci-Fi
Not THAT much of a fan, but I do enjoy a bit of science in my fiction.
- Violence/Gore
I do enjoy gore, but not a mindless gore fest. Simply something that comes naturally in genre like action, war, psychological, survival, thriller, horror, etc.
- Sports
Because sports anime screams bromance and friendship and thrill of youth.
Mostly I'm looking for friendship themed story and/or BROMANCE.
I love anime featuring those two themes. Shounen happened to be the genre that offered plenty of it.
I like drama, comedy and romance too, but not as the main genre.
I hate:
Harem
Or any kind of polyamory/cheating theme. Just NO. Also, when I see that the main characters are all girls with only one or two guys, even though there is no harem tag, it's a huge turn off too. I think the only harem anime I've watched is Bakemonogatari and Tomodachi ga Sukunai. Back when I was waaay less picky.
Reverse Harem
This is depend so much on the protagonist. If I like her, I think I'll love it, but if I dislike her, I'll drop it without a second thought (or never pick it up in the first place). Had never finished a reverse harem anime. I actually hate it more than harem. Then again romance is not really my cup of tea, unless there is some interesting stuff beside it so I'm not a fan of harem/reverse harem.
Ecchi
If it's not too vulgar, and not the main theme, then it's ok, this also depend on it's other genres.
Hentai
I see no point in watching them because all of them are basically porn without plot. I appreciate good character development above all else.
Remember that this is only at the first glance. I mean, if new anime season comes out, I pick the anime based on this. But, if I see many good respond to certain anime that didn't catch my attention at first, I probably would consider it.

I certainly prefer BL over yaoi. I don't like mindless porn in general. I'm not really a fan of romance too. I'm more bromance kinda girl and romance with the slowest of burn that is born from bromance and not just instant romantic attraction.
I prefer BL/GL story that have more realism to it, like, I prefer if the story addresses real world problem surrounding LGBT, such as:
- How some people and society still thinks it's taboo,
- Internalized homophobia,
- Confused about your sexuality and is afraid and freaking out when you realized,
- Try to accept your sexuality,
- Coming out to your family and friends,
and every other drama that surrounds LGBT, instead of just normal romance but with same sex.
I think it's the fact that such romantic relationship are still somewhat forbidden that makes it more interesting than normal romance story for me. The complication it creates, just make it the more interesting.
Granted I haven't read nor watch that many BL except parody doujinshi, but I recently read Ao no Flag it's a great story that everyone would enjoy I think, and I realized if only more BL story are like this, but somehow the one that always get anime adaptation is the rapey, fetishized one instead of gem like this.
Also, guess I'm just a slut for angsty romance story and BL/GL just makes for a great angsty story, tbh.
I like BL over GL is simply because I like hot guys than hot girls, lol.
About games I like
My favorite genre is Hack n' Slash. I also like adventure and RPG games. And The Sims Series. For mini-games, I like time management, tower defense, and puzzle games like Plants vs Zombies and Diner Dash.
