Yeah, I wish the remakes could have more additions. The extra cutscenes in DQ3 are cool.
I heard from a guy on YT who allegedly got insider info saying there would be a post-game for those who have a DQ3 save file. I'm taking any rando's info with a grain of salt until we see for ourselves, though.
I honestly still think it sucks that they now recommend to play DQ3 before DQ1&2. And I know it is a prequel and all the same things George Lucas says about the watch order of Star Wars, but the twist in DQ3 won't have any significance to someone who doesn't know about Alefgard. If there really is post-game content exclusive to those with a DQ3 save file, then I think I will suggest people from then on to play in the following order:

1. Dragon Quest I
   
2. Dragon Quest II (main game)
   
3. Dragon Quest III
   
4. Dragon Quest II (post-game)

Well, I'm hoping you'll find them interesting, too, since they're RPGs and I get from our conversation that you like that genre.
I'm a bit excited that we got a somewhat more detailed trailer for the Dragon Quest I & II remakes.
I personally don't really like the English voices for the princesses in DQ2 (it's not that I hate deeper voices, but just that it doesn't fit what I imagined them to sound like when I played the Super Famicom versions), but I do like that they brought Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe back. Hopefully the Spanish translation will be written in feudal Spanish, too. And it's a shame that we still don't get any actual attack animations for the Hero, but at least the spells are flashy.

I'm also looking forward to The Adventures of Elliot (yes, you're allowed to laugh at the name as much as you want), even though I'm bummed that it won't come out for Switch 1, and I don't plan to buy the Switch 2 anytime soon. It's unfair because Square Enix has already previously released games in the same style for the Switch 1. Maybe I will see if I can pirate the PC release.

Oh, I thought most would agree that I am the one being too overly optimistic.

Why played out?

I'd like to somehow take it as a sign of hope that things can get better. If the world just keeps going, then that means that maybe we too can keep going in spite of pain, that we can forget we were depressed. That we can still move forward along with those we care about.
Or does that sound too corny?

Yesterday I was thinking of how, even when we're sad or worried for someone, the music on the radiocast is the same as always. And I mean, of course it is! But it's just... a weird feeling when you realise it, y'know?

I had been stuck at the chapter 2 title card of Fuga for like a week and a half because it just didn't go away, so I thought it was because it was a loading screen and my PC was just bad, so on different days I tried different things, even borrowing my brother's more powerful PC for testing. Now I just discovered I had to press a key to proceed and I feel both stupid and somewhat upset that I didn't get any feedback that I needed to press anything.
Do you think I'm the idiot here or is it fault of the game design?
