I will not rate anything a 10 if it isn't finished. Endings make it or break it baby.

More partial to manga than anime but it doesn't affect my scoring. If a series has a different anime rating than a manga rating or vice versa, then it's probably because the animators or mangaka did something that either carried the series or ruined it.

CURRENTLY READING/WATCHING


Tower of God (anime): I feel like this is such a clusterfuck of unexplained ideas and exposition backed up by such a nothing main character. the songs bang though

Kanojo, Okarishimasu (manga): I have never seen a more bitchmade cuck ass main character in my lifetime. Holy shit. The amount of time, money, effort, and emotion he puts into this girl for almost nothing in return is mind-numbingly insane. Anyway it sucks pretty bad, I feel like the writers have never interacted with a woman before in their life. Everything between the plot devices and character motives just make zero sense. There's only like two times in this manga where Kazuya wasn't completely pathetic and Chizuru actually acted like a human being. Prob gonna avoid it and just read the ending eventually (whenever that is lol).

One Piece (manga): Currently on Egghead island, great arc so far and does a lot by letting Luffy stretch his legs (no pun intended) as the fresh new Yonkou on the block. Added tons of lore for the world as well which is probably one of OP's strongest points.

Jujutsu Kaisen (manga): Not gonna lie, I'm not in love with how the story has been building up overtime. I feel like there's just nothing but random ass NPC ass villains popping up like crazy followed by a character death followed by more NPC ass villains followed by another forgettable tragedy. Just gets harder to care about anything going on anymore at that point, it especially gets harder to care about Yuji at this point. Promising start but I feel like at this point Gege barely knows what he wants to do with the story.
