I recommend Zetman, Guyver, & Kakugo No Susume. They're both violent sci-fi takes on superheroes. Zetman manga has a pretty strong start but I do feel it drags in some areas. I'm not sure about the ending either. The Zetman anime was very different & super rushed but it looks cool. Kakugo No Susume is a grotesque and gory manga but very heroic with some masculinity. That story is very concise and no event feels like a waste of time. Unfortunately, it only got a two episode ova which were a good adaptation. Wish it continued as the Kakugo No Susume manga is pretty short. Guyver The Bio Boosted Armor is a bit tricky to recommend due to it's current manga hiatus and multiple anime adaptations. The 2005 anime is the best one in terms of telling a story & has the most content. The older ovas are gorier but they stop really early in the story.

Cool to see Kei Kurono in your favorites. It's been years since I last saw the anime & manga. Golgo 13 even made an appearance in it.

Aww that's really awesome to hear, haha. Yeah, The girl from the other side really is my favorite manga as well. Something perhaps most similar, would be an anime/manga called "The ancient magus bride." (Mahoutsukai no yome) Not sure if you heard of it?

It's a different setting, but also something similar with a girl involved being in love/friendly towards a 'shunned being'. The tale is very magical, it has an amazing story and visual effects. It's not your regular shonen with a lot of action, but more of a story how a human being is able to touch a monster's heart, and gets close to it. It's very bright, but it gets dark at times as well. Check it out if you want something similar ish :D
