It was pretty good! The visuals were amazing and I understand why it got an anime adaption because of that. It could have used less fighting as it got boring at times without any stakes so it felt like more of the same thing that I've already seen, but the visuals made up for it so it wasn't too bad in the end. The only reason I finished this was actually because I wanted to see where the relationship with Cha would go, so I'm glad I stuck it out, but they really teased me haha. Considering that, the relationships were actually one of it's ... strong suits because the main characters personality often made a conversation or encounter exciting and unexpected so it's a shame that it didn't focus on this more. If I were to give this a score it would probably be 7.5/10. Will be reading Ragnarok eventually. (If your curious why it says only 72 chapters read it's because I watched the first 7 volumes through the anime and I didn't feel like rereading all of the story that I already knew about.)

This is the most I've smiled while watching an anime in a while, not only was it charming but the world felt expansive and fun. It's plot concept mixes up what you would traditionally see in an Isekai that helps it feel fresh and new and the world building really brings out the beautiful things about Japan. Despite it just being an anime it really makes me appreciate the wonderful things about the world we live in and how the simplest of things have such a powerful effect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes romance anime with characters that feel multi-dimensional. It ... also has fun fantasy elements that would keep people who aren't a fan of romantic anime interested. I'll definitely be reading the manga for this one! 9.4/10

This anime was alright, the best part about it would probably be seeing what the main character would come up with and the creative ways he helped the world with his alchemy, but the cliches that were sprinkled in the anime had me bored a lot of time. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind cliches, but when they are so heavily focused on it it gets pretty old after a while and could definitely turn you away from this anime if you don't like that. The characters that accompany the main character were all female and it turned into a harem-esk dynamic between all ... of them which is way overdone. They became relentlessly positive towards the main character and were very one dimensional because of it.

Characters aside, the world building in this anime is probably it's best quality, it's fun seeing how he helps the world and his dynamic between the goddess and the way it affects the world. Would give 6.5 if I could. I might not watch a second season if it gets one but maybe if it's seems like the anime leans into the world building in the right ways and has an interesting story line.
