It has to be a different show with a different story and characters.
I'm no expert, so I couldn't tell you how to make it a masterpiece. I just know that for me personally it lacked depth and I wasn't as emotionally invested as some other shows I watched.

I'm kind of harsh with my scores, so I'm not handing away 10's to every show I enjoy.
I have to be heavily invested or impacted by a show to give it a 9 or higher.
Don't get me wrong, Domestic girlfriend was a fun ride and I binged it in one day, but it's nowhere near a masterpiece in my eyes.
At the end of the day, the term 'masterpiece' is subjective.
