Have you been studying Japanese too and what do you think of Arc The Lad 2's amazing themes?
It's been a while since I last watched anything Ghost in the Shell. I also got lots of unconventional cyberpunk comics to explore.
The closest thing to Rahxephon that I could recommend to you would probably be Paper Girls.
