Haha yeah, that happens surprisingly often, clearly the universe just wanted us to fix that now haha. And HARD agree on Crystal… it feels more like a supplement than a replacement, while the 90’s version just *breathes* personality, the atmosphere, the OST, the little character moments… unbeatable. I can 100% imagine those Crystal vs 90’s debates getting intense (I would absolutely be on the 90’s side with dramatic hand gestures). Also omg yes, Precure chaos is real, the urge to start everything at once is STRONG. Healing Good is also high on my plan to watch list, I heard a lot of good things about it.

Ohhh I also wanted to read Honey Lemon Soda! But if you start any, please let me know if you would recommend them to me I'm SO curious, I haven't heard of the rest at all

You’re honestly so right about Sailor Moon… the 90s version just hits differently. I wasn't able to fully finish Crystal tho. But the atmosphere, the music, the pacing, all is pure nostalgia magic in 90s ver, feels warmer and more emotional somehow

Sailor Moon really is one of those timeless series, no matter how many years pass it still hits the same way. A full rewatch every few years sounds like the perfect ritual honestly, it’s like revisiting an old friend that never changes 💖✨I was also planning to do so soon hahah

And don’t worry at all about being late, real life absolutely comes first!! MAL won't run away haha. I’m actually kind of impressed you’ve still been making progress with Doremi despite being so busy, season 1 really is amazing and sets the tone so well. Healing Good Precure sounds like such a good next pick too, I was also thinking on it but I have too many started Precures, I need to rethink my bad habits XD But I'm so curious on most of the Precures!!!

And I also loved the one-shots! I read as a child and had no idea these stories are not part of Tokyo Mew Mew hahahah. And yesss, Clamp afterwards sounds like a perfect plan honestly, their works have such a distinct mood and charm. Ahhh Sailor Moon being your first anime is such a perfect origin story - that’s like being blessed by the magical moon herself at child age and then never recovering hahaha. I totally get the nostalgia, every time I rewatch even a random episode from my childhood MG favorites I get that warm “this is where it all began” feeling. 🥺💖

And omg yes, juggling seasonals plus backlog classics should honestly count as a full-time job. I already retired, I can't do this!!! 😝 The magical-girl struggle is REAL. Doremi is such a good pick though - it’s pure comfort energy, I loved it as a child, I'm also rewatching it now, but chronigically at last hahaha. And Pretty Cure is basically an endless rainbow buffet, so once you’re in it never ends! I just started my journey with Precure tho, that's a waste it wasn't there when I was a child, I would have LOVED it!

Tokyo Mew Mew is such a fun read!! It has that very early-2000s sparkly chaos energy that I love so much. It was my first manga to be honest! If you already enjoyed both anime versions, the manga will probably feel like coming home but with extra sugar sprinkled on top due to the art, but unfortunately, the plot is shorter. I'm so curious if you will like it!
